This is the thread for football in Scotland including the SPL, SFL. Junior Leagues and any other football. Although a predominantly Scottish football thread, please don't think its exclusively about SPL clubs or Scotland. Feel free to discuss what you wish. Please make me aware of the team you support and I'll update this first post.

What happened to Gretna? Did they just spend gooseberry fool loads of money in search of the promised land and get there only to find that it wasn't quite so promised?

Yep Aberdeen man myself. We have been on some shocking form lately, losing to Falkirk, going out of the cup to Raith, losing 3-0 at home against Motherwell etc.

I think it's a lack of commitment and motivation on the players part rather than McGhee. We have Hearts on Saturday at home so we should put up a good fight but you never know with us, beat Rangers then lose to Falkirk :?

The chairman's illness got worse, and didn't bankroll the club during its first season in SPL. Thus, Gretna went bust.

Anyway, Celtic!

PS I :fp: at them today. They're complaining to the SFA about the refs... It makes us look like sore losers. Just accept it, Mr. Chairman... we weren't good this season! I mean, they used the number of offsides that Robbie Keane as an example, saying that the linesmen can't keep up with his pace.

Of all time or in recent years? Your 11 looks quite modern, apart from Robertson.

Add a section to the original post for the mighty Queen of the South and add myself if you'd be so kind Scotticus.

Put me down for Hearts.

Steven Pressley is probably one of the greatest Scottish players ever. Seems cool as strawberry float as well.
