I dunno about you, but being a skinny lad it bothers me that fat people get so much attention when it comes to changing their ways. Why don't skinny folks get the same? I'm 6 foot 1 and I weigh a little under 11 stone. I need to gain weight, maybe a stone or two, and I want to know the best way to go about it. Are there any other people here eager to join me on my mission to gain weight? Anyone who was thin but is now a bloater? Add to your post count here!

I'm also 6ft 1 and very skinny. I'm not going to say exactly how much I weigh but I will tell you that I may very well die if I lose any more weight.

Why? NHS' BMI calculator says that's the normal weight for that height.

I'm 6"1 (a popular height here) and just over 11 stone. People say I'm skinny but I've got a bit of a beer belly.

6'5" and built like a brick shit-house.

Just do some weights and training, eating a bit more/adjusting your diet would also help if you really want to gain weight.

I'm 5'10 and just over 9 stone, not too bothered though. I can eat as much as I like whenever I want and never put on a pound. I'm just waiting for the day when my metabolism finally packs in and I pile on loads of weight :(

I'm 5' 11" and pretty skinny, if I do put on any weight it's always on my hips/backside whereupon I suddenly need new jeans. :x

Since this is a general skinniness thread I'm use this opportunity to say that I absolutely hate it when really big guys sit next to me on the train and squash me into the bleeding corner or worse when they're sitting across two seats and won't move their arse.

I'm pretty sure the BMI calculator is wrong. And even if it's right, I have room to manouvre upwards in the weight stakes. I wonder what I would look like two stones heavier.

I don't ever post my photo on the interwebs, ruins all the mystique. ;)

I had this when I was 19, used to eat packets of crisps, biscuits and multiple chocolate bars everyday at work and not put on any weight. Not any more though, I have one packet of crisps a day and a choccie bar plus fruit and a bit of veg with lunch.

6'1" and 10st. I enjoy making others feel bad by eating whatever the hell I feel like and never gaining a pound. It's the life of a king. :D
