Thought that was a great episode and a solid start to s2. The Ransom subplot was brilliant and a nice nod to TOS.

Also, for the second time this year I was able to recognise Randall Park’s voice from a single line of conversation. It’s not that recognisable, how am I doing that?

Oh Lower Decks is at Season 2 already? Coming out weekly I assume?

Would there be any interest in a co-ordinated GRcade watch-through of all the Star Trek series? Sort of like a "GRcade plays..." thread but for Star Trek.

I've worked my way through TOS/TNG/DS9/VOY again over the last year and I'm currently well into my third attempt to watch Enterprise, but I'm already hankering to go back to those TOS episodes and TNG.

I thought it might be fun to go through them as a group, probably 4 episodes a week and that way we can chat gooseberry fool about them as we go (And it would only take 3.5 years to get completely up to date :slol: ). There wouldn't be any commitment needed from anyone, just dip in and out as and when you like.

I might be up for that.
Might finally get me to watch Discovery Season 3.

Isn't TAS on Netflix as well?

Yeah! We're on a Voyager rewatch atm but I'd love to start from TOS and go through everything with a group, think it'd be a great idea.

I would love to do it, but I just don't think I would be able to keep on the pace. It's taken me something like 18 months to rewatch TNG and half of DS9!

Yeah TAS is there.

Need to give TAS another shot as I quickly moved onto TNG.

Everything up to the end of Enterprise is on Netflix (Apart from the movies) so that makes it easy to get it all in one place. All the newer stuff is on Amazon.
By the time we got to Discovery S3 I think we'd probably have a Seasons 4, 5 and maybe 6 to deal with as well. This will take a while.

Yeah, one of the reasons I want to do it is that I just miss that original cast. They're amazing. Plus I think a lot of people sleep on TOS these days. It's very "of it's time" in many respects but I still think it's worth a watch.

No commitment needed so you can dip in/out as often you want. :D

I've been working from home for the past year and a half so plenty of time to binge Trek in the background.

I would definitely be up for dipping in and out :D

Plus having it as a collective thing might encourage me to watch a bit more consistently!

Oh definitely.

I think when I start it off this is going to be a "warts and all" thing. No skipping the gooseberry fool episodes (TNG Season 1 :dread: ).

I'll set up a thread in the next day or so to keep it separate from the general Star Trek one.

I'm currently in the middle of a rewatch with a friend, so I am unable to commit to another at this time.

My wife is in for this but doesn’t really post on here so I’ll most likely be relaying both our thoughts.

No commitment required man. Dip in and out if and when you are able/feel like it. :D

Not bad. I hate that Nickelodeon logo though, but other than that it looks good.

Be interesting to see how this is.
