Isn't Janeway the only Captain who made it to Admiral status?
She also obliterated the Borg

She is the only one who stayed an Admiral, but then she got assimilated by the Borg thru stupidity before her spirit was taken travelling with FemQ

She only obliterated the Borg after they had become the biggest laughing stock in the known universe and about as scary as a lovely grassy field full of fluffy kittens.
The Borg should have committed mass suicide out of shame long before they got defeated.

An Admiral Archer and his prized beagle were also mentioned in ST09.

If it didn't happen on-screen, then it didn't happen.

Also, Cisco and Picard are both admirals too.

On the contrary: Cisco is an American multinational corporation headquartered in San Jose, California that designs, manufactures and sells networking equipment.

Picard can't be an admiral in the future. He's a crazy old vineyard guy who sees midgets everywhere!

That episode is greatness though. Glad it was voted the best series finale on here.

Would you believe that was a typo? What is it with the pedantry around here today? Oh very well - Picard and SISCO are both admirals too.

Sisko wasn't an admiral. He was promoted to god child.
Picard wasn't an admiral either.

:fp:

Sisko most definitely WAS promoted to admiral, just around when things kicked off in earnest with the Dominion, and Picard... I'm not sure when, possibly before first contact?

I think Voyager was never assimilated because Janeway only ever attacked them when they weren't expecting it and had a detail plan in doing so.
Thats why the Borg looked weak.

I don't think that's the case, he was made adjunct to an Admiral but at most that made him a fleet captain.

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:

Sisko was never promoted above the rank of Captain. Why do you think everyone kept calling him Captain?

I was wrong about sisko being an admiral (though his successes against the dominion should surely have earned him that title?)... So I'm probably wrong about Picard, too.

I am not, however, wrong about Janeway - she is the best starfleet captain bar none.

Season 6/7. He was Admiral Ross's adjunct.
