strawberry float the idea of franchise 'tourism' btw. The idea is heinous and, you know, isn't actually a thing.

I've honestly never heard of gatekeeping being called 'tourism' before today. I find it so weird how entitled fandoms can get over who gets to like the same things they like and their reasons for why, particularly things that are undeniably massively popular.

Anyway that trailer was alright, in the same way the trailers for the The Force Awakens made me think it could be amazing, but ultimately visuals alone don't tell a good story.

Yeah, it's a bullshit euphemism that a lot of GamerGaters and the type tend to use. It's toxic as strawberry float and often wielded against minorities and women.

At what point can you claim permanent residency as a tourist?

I’ve see all the films, played Episode 1 Pod Racer on the N64 religiously and have read a couple of books from the EU. Where do I apply?

Psh. You're not even a day tripper. The Star Wars equivalent of Judith Chalmers.

Definitely not a True Star Wars Fan.

I see you've once more been successful in rallying the troops to your cause. Oh, and you've even managed to bring out the Gamergater card! Awesome.

Keep up the good work. Must be incredibly tiring standing on the sidelines of the internet barking at the world whilst not actually doing anything of any real merit beyond those borders. Thumbs up for you, pal.

If we're going to argue about a science fiction series, please do so within the confines of its films, books, TV shows etc., not whether one poster on an internet forum has anymore ownership of a set of publically-released movies consumed by millions of people since their creation 42 years ago.

And only a relatively small sub set of those movies are even any good. ;)

I've been trying to get into it more but am not sure where to start - would you recommend the original series or DS9?
