This has to be the most pretentious and pompous post I've ever read on an internet forum. And I used to be a member of AVforums, so that's saying something.

To be fair it's some real big dick energy. Stomping into an 40 page thread on a videogames forum and declaring yourself the master of Star Wars is the nerd equivalent of walking up to the biggest guy in prison and punching him the strawberry float out.

Only, you know, missing and smashing your fist into a wall as he readies a shiv.

Recent reviews have taken a nosedive though with the recent asteroid field cutting off all outside visitors.

Watching the characters running into battle in this is laughable after seeing Endgame. Everything will seem small compared to that!

I don't know. Regardless of how the film turns out it'll still be visually stunning.

Imagine this post about literally any film unrelated to the MCU. Like I don't know, Dunkirk or something.

Well obviously. Dunkirk was just an Earth war whereas Endgame was an intergalactic war.

My point being I don't see why Endgame existing should lessen any similar battle scene from any other movie!

Point being that Endgame and Star Wars 9 are both "finale" movies made by the same parent company in the same year. Given how unbelievably brilliant Endgame was, Star Wars has a tough job trying to compete with that and will need to bring all of the punches. Looking back at finales of Disney-owned movies that released this year, one is obviously going to come out a lot more impressively than the other. It's like if Nintendo was to release Super Mario Galaxy 3 and Kirby's DreamDream Adventure in the same year, which one will fans remember most?

Because Endgame had the Hulk, Dunkirk had one of the children from One Direction.

Rewatching TLJ again.

And so begins the great modern trilogy wars .

New guy in my team at work told me he likes both TFA and TLJ. I told him I will fail his probation unless he picks one side.
