Already seen the first three episodes of Bad Batch. Super great episodes. Can't wait to see how events progress.

Are they splitting the final series of Bad Batch into two again?

There will be a new episode every Wednesday from now until May 1st - no break. March 13th and April 3rd will have two episodes, the rest just one, and today was three.

Thanks, if they’d split it again I’d have probably waited and binged the first half in a couple of sittings.

It's a bit good, isn't it?

Wrecker hauling Gonky around during that absolute horror movie of a second episode was amazing.

Absolutely loved all 3 episodes so far. Can't wait to see where they go with the story.

Right, I've just finished S1 and S2 of the Mandalorian. Bar the Kenobi series, these have been my first forays into the Disney+ stuff (bar watching the first four episodes of the Clone Wars in that suggested order).

So, what fits best next? I could do the Cone Wars, though this will be a big time commitment.

The Book of Boba Fett is next in the Mando stuff, though I think the villain there is from other media? I guess I could also watch Andor, having seen Rogue One...

Andor all the way, without a second thought.

Yeah, Book of Boba Fett follows Mando S2, so if you want to continue that storyline, that's what to watch next. Then Mando S3.

Ahsoka can be watched without all the history of the characters, I feel, but if you do want to do The Clone Wars at some point, it's best to save Ahsoka until after that, Bad Batch, and Rebels.

As for Andor, it absolutely is best in class, and I daresay the first season tells a complete story. But with season 2 coming at some point in the next two years, by the time you've watched everything else, Andor S2 will have probably fully released.

Go for Andor next if you want, it's very good, but as far as keeping with the Mandalorian vibe goes, I would take some time to dive into the earlier cartoons - Clone Wars, Bad Batch and Rebels. Their tone and caper of the week structure more closely matches with the Mandalorian, and their events are foundational to the stories being told in the Mandalorian and its related shows.

They can be a bit messy, early Clone Wars especially, but they're fun, and they do a lot of heavy lifting in world building and character development. And, their episodes are shorter, snappier, so they're more easily binged.

You're in for a treat no matter what, though.

The dour atmosphere so far leads me to think that we might be looking at an ending closer to the Magnificent Seven than Kelly’s Heroes. There’s probably a reason that post-Rebels we never hear of Project Necromancer or the Bad Batch ever again

A very nice episode of The Bad Batch. Ending on the reunion felt right. Even more so by not having a word spoken between Crosshair, Hunter, and Wrecker. Let that tension speak for itself.

Andor is the best Star Wars has been since the original trilogy and it's not even close.

I don't want Bad Batch to end.
