It was a season of two halves, makes me realise I want another Mandalorian rather than Boba Fett series. In fact this season has made me realise that I don't give a strawberry float about Boba Fett something I never thought I would ever say.

They really need to get rid of those multi coloured bikes though!

The whole biker gang thing looked awful. Seemed so out of place.

So you don't understand counter culture. Got it.

Eh?

Alvin is a level 99 Star Wars gatekeeper, don't worry about it...

I still don't think the bikes should be there, they look so far out of place with the rest of the setting

Literally the entire point of the Mod look is to stand in stark contrast to their surroundings, but whatever, everything has to look dingy and battered forever I guess, nobody on Tatooine can have anything nice or take pride in their stuff.

Would it look more appropriate on another planet? Yes. Would that defeat the purpose of its existence? Also yes.

I think you're confusing real life with fiction

To be fair, Alvin has a point. Not everything has to stay static as was originally seen. It's a galaxy of many places. Crossing cultures is bound to happen. Can't blame a bunch of teenagers for trying to make a change on such a drab world as Tatooine. The only thing that doesn't really sell it, unless I missed such, are the reactions of the citizens of Mos Espa. Unless this has been a thing for many years, of course, in which case they'd be more used to the flashy weirdo natives.

We will have to agree to disagree, personally I think it looks stupid and out of place.

I'd like a show set on Coruscant with youths rocking Jawacore fashions and riding Sandcrawler Speeders just to piss Rubix off.

But actually that would also be really cool to see.

I think more time should have been dedicated to beating the war drums in the preceding episodes, showing the Pykes as a true occupying paramilitary force, having Boba and Fennec recruiting from more of the oppressed peoples, including the Tuskens. Maybe make that water salesman from the start suffer a bit more, have the Mods save him from a Pyke or something.

Maybe put Boba back in bacta for a spell to get a live action memory of his duel with Cad Bane, from back in his youth.

Could've made it a 9 episode season at least, if they still included the Mando stuff.

I enjoyed the episode, there were a lot of good moments, some really great action, everything came together pretty well. It could've been better, I think, but, it was a good finale.

Anyone know if we're getting a season 2?

I have a question

why would like allow Grogu to go back to Mando. I thought a main reason why Luke took Grogu was not just to train him but to also protect him from those who were trying to get hold of him and harness the midicloriansfrom his blood? Whilst yes obviously Mando wants to protect him, he is surely safer in Luke's protection and not just because he has an army of ant robots

Story-wise, we already knew that Ben Solo was Luke's first pupil, I think from a comic, or one of the Sequel movies? So the writers needed to give Grogu an out. His attachment to Din, Din's gift of the Beskar Mail, and Yoda's second lightsaber, combined to provide the confluence of factors necessary to allow Luke to let Grogu willingly leave and keep that part of canon intact.

Grogu is much safer in Luke's hands, of course, but he wasn't taken into Luke's care only to save him - it was to train him. But, that can't happen, because of what we already knew of his relationship with Ben.
