Oh, there is going to be so much merch, it will be unreal.

Jedi: Fallen Order 2 I'm sure is a lock for happening. I also wouldn't be surprised to see a Battlefront 3 that takes advantage of the next generation of consoles. For God's sake, though, can we get one for the Switch? Even if Aspyr have to remaster the PSP Battlefront games? Any Star Wars game even? The Switch needs new stuff as well.

A blaster hero-based singleplayer Star Wars adventure (bounty hunters aplenty!), a Battle Royale game, a new Pod Racer title, an Advance Wars clone... There are many possibilities.

Regarding Battlefront, they're going to have to figure out how to double stuff the game if they're going to keep up with the great characters extant today, let alone all the new ones on their way. Wouldn't be surprised if they start dividing Battlefront games into eras, focusing each game on a particular Star Wars period and its maps, heroes etc.

Ahsoka show logo seems to heavily hint at the world between worlds, which fits her pursuit of Thrawn, and likely indicates that both Sabine Wren and Ezra will be in the show. Bo-Katan as well, perhaps. The show may well be the heavily rumored Rebels sequel.

Oh, I'd completely forgot to mention any new stuff I'd like to see. We've got the Jedi solo player adventure, so now bring us the gunslinger solo player adventure. Or even a ground vehicle action game similar to the original Clone Wars game. If we were to get a new Racer, I wouldn't want it to just be restricted to Pod Racing. There's plenty of racing disciplines available to explore. Why not create a game that does just that?

Resistance, for all its flaws, showed us a whole new world of racing in the Star Wars universe - and you know there have to be Speeder Bike races (the book Lost Stars by Claudia Gray has a whole scene where Imperial cadets on Coruscant race speeder bikes), Bantha races, and more going on.

I only mentioned Pod Racing because it's absolutely criminal that a new Pod Racer hasn't happened in literal decades.

Oh, there is so much more they could do with a Pod Racing game than what could be achieved back then, so I agree on that one.

Are they capable of telling any story not set within the same tiny 60 year time span?

It's a rich period to explore, I suppose.

The Acolyte is the first show to break out, being set in the High Republic era, several hundred years earlier. It joins a small but growing library of books and comics set at about that same time.

I expect that we'll see Old Republic shows and books in due course, as well.

Eagle-eyed watchers of the Bad Batch trailer will note Fennec, the Imperial sniper we see in the Mandalorian, is in this new show. Which looks amazing in that trailer.

I don’t like programmes or movies set in the past (of their own lore) because it feels like the story is predestined to reach a certain point. But with these three series set in the Mandoverse* this feels like it’s the future of Star Wars. If only that future of the Disney movies can be prevented!

* I thought I was clever because I just coined the word Mandoverse - alas others have already done the same!

Willow series confirmed!

I hope there’s an Ufgood crossover with Kenobi.

Yeah, I felt this too. The "time of the Mandalorian" is getting flogged to death, just like "set between Episodes 3 and 4" was basically the go-to era last decade. It was weird how they'd always conveniently find yet another Jedi who escaped the Order 66 and The Terrifying Complete and Utter Destruction of the Jedi, when it came to pedalling a new story.

For me, making series like "Lando" and "Ashoka" just smacks of flogging a dead horse and going for the easy bait.

What next? A follow up series showing that cantina band making their difficult second album?

I'm obviously an outlier as it seems plenty of people are gushing over this, but for me some of it just seems a little unimaginative.

The only possible show I can think that they could do after the sequels but without having to design all new everything would be a Finn, Jannah, Connix & Rose-centric show, with them leading the Stormtrooper rebellion across the galaxy against a fractured-but-rallying First Order.

Anything set much after that is going to be so much harder to get approved due to the fact that you'd be establishing a new era for the franchise. The High Republic era is being established with a whole wave of books, comics, a show, probably a videogame at some point, and likely movies yet to come.

So much Star Wars

Most of it should be terrific though, imagine a lot of it is a fair while away though so once series 2 of The Mandalorian is over (and I’ve rewatched it all) I’ll still probably cancel my membership for a while.

Bad Batch and Kenobi are both set to release in 2021, IIRC. I don't know when, but I wouldn't expect them to air alongside Mandalorian. They'll try and space them out.

Bad Batch is 100% a Clone Wars sequel and I am excited.

Is Rogue Squadron a show or a movie?

Rogue Squadron is the next movie we'll be getting

Weird there's nothing shown of Kenobi while Andor got a bit of a trailer
