Very interesting. Seems unlikely to be any of the confirmed ones we know of, but then we don't really know much about any of them. We'll just have to see what occurs over the next few days.

Most likely to be Kenobi or Boba Fett, as production hasn't started on the other live action shows. I would assume Kenobi, as a large set for that show has already been built, as we saw a month or two ago.

Fett debuts in December so production on that might even have wrapped already, Mandalorian S3 won't begin filming until after Fett is out in the wild, and the others are still likely a couple years away; Ahsoka will probably be the next to arrive after Kenobi. Hoping for a live action Lars Mikkelsen Thrawn.

Apparently confirmed to be part of the Cassian Andor series, prequel to Rogue One.

Wait seriously? I didn't think we'd be getting that for ages. Guess they're planning on a 2022 release for that then, maybe? Like how Falcon & Winter Soldier shot early last year and released this year.

Obi Wan is apparently spooling up production now, and Andor is way into filming (they've already been filming at Pinewood and in Berkshire too). Mandalorian and Boba Fett have yet to start.

They'd better get a move on with Fett, because AFAIK it's still slated to air in 7 months. :dread:

What a great opening episode. I won't say more until more people have watched it, but they nailed the feeling of changing times.

I’ll be watching it when I’m done with work this afternoon, always up for more Star Wars, watching all of the Clone Wars, Rebels and Mandalorian has been the main reason I got Disney+ in the first place, Bad Batch looks very good from the trailers so good to hear the opening episode is good! The rest are down to 30 ish minutes aren’t they? Suppose a 75 min episode every week would have been a bit too much to ask for.

I love that they've had to dismantle half of the Cassian Andor set as the Cleveleys weather is so gooseberry fool

We prepared for Bad Batch today by watching the Clone Wars episodes with them in over the last couple of days. My kid is very excited for tonight. Struck me yesterday that a Bad Batch tactical strategy game (a la Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars on the 3DS) would be excellent.

Thought the first episode of Bad Batch was fantastic, didn’t feel 70 odd minutes long in the slightest, looking forward to the second episode on Friday.

More tweets from the Cleveleys set. Spoilered as they actually show some stuff this time:

Watched Bad Batch today, and I'm impressed. The nods to the Clone Wars and Rebels in the opening feature length episode, the way everything you need to know is communicated naturally so newbies can just jump right in, the high quality of the animation from minute one, and the story itself. All great. I'm very keen to see where it all goes from here. The opening sequence with the helmets that acts as a prequel-era version of the Mandalorian's equivalent intro sequence, also a great touch.

Also, yes, definitely want to see a Bad Batch videogame of some sort. Could be a third person RPG/shooter ala Mass Effect, could be a Republic Commando type FPS, or an Aliens: Infestation type shooty platformer. Could go several ways.

So far I’ve found Bad Batch to be quite average except the first episode, it looks great though.

I've been quite enjoying Bad Batch. For some reason I find the Imperial Credit/Chain Code sub-story going on in the background to be rather fascinating. It's great getting little glimpses of the Republic transitioning to the Empire and how subtle it was to the point people were cheering for it.
Then again I also found some of Clone Wars more 'political' focused episodes to be among its best too.
