Animation gets alot better as it goes on. The final season of Clone Wars is excellent.

Landing at Point Rain is the first real sign of improving visuals.

The stories as a whole get much better after the first season, too. Like all Star Wars shows, the first season isn't up to much.

I'm up to the final third of season 1 of Clone Wars - It's pretty good so far but the voice acting can be a bit ham so far. I've heard it gets really good so I'll keep watching.

Yup, that episode was the first one to really make me sit up and notice. Really was a brilliant show.

Obi-Wan Kenobi, the new Disney+ special event series starring Ewan McGregor as the iconic Jedi Master, will begin shooting in April.

The story begins 10 years after the dramatic events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith where Kenobi faced his greatest defeat, the downfall and corruption of his best friend and Jedi apprentice, Anakin Skywalker turned evil Sith Lord Darth Vader.

Obi-Wan Kenobi is directed by Deborah Chow, director of two critically acclaimed episodes of The Mandalorian Season 1.

The series also marks the return of Hayden Christensen in the role of Darth Vader.

Good spot.

Hopefully we'll get some Obi and Ani flashback adventures, although please don't let it be a LOL THE NEST OF GUNDARKS AMIRITE

Yeah, curious to see how they'll integrate Vader into the story convincingly.

Must have some "Helmet off" scenes for it to have to be Hayden again instead of.. just someone in a suit.

This could be absolutely amazing. I hope it features other jedi who survived order 66 as well. I don’t believe there’s anything to suggest that obi wan and Vader never met again between revenge of the sith and a new hope.

And judging by how they played fast and loose with things in The Mandalorian, we've no real way of knowing if it's even Hayden in there when the helmet is on!

We were all 16 many years ago, but I don't know why you're picking on Return_of_the_STAR.

Obi-Wan's sass game is notoriously strong, so I would expect some fun. But yeah, hopefully we'll get some decent flashbacks too.

In the comics and the book Lords of the Sith (which should totally get an animated adaptation - Tartakovsky maybe?), Vader is shown having a lot of thoughts about Obi-Wan and their RotS encounter; I hope this show gives us more than that. Really hoping to see Hayden in full helmetless Vader makeup.

Nice to see some of the cast revealed, with both prequel Owen and Beru here. I'm sure at least one episode will deal with that relationship. Maybe even bookending the series. If a Vader confrontation is on the cards, it could be the fifth episode, with the sixth dealing with the result of that fight. Perhaps Obi-Wan makes a mistake in protecting Luke in that last episode because of that confrontation, forcing Owen to step in and the relationship between the two to deteriorate.
