Ahsoka casting news:

Mary Elizabeth Winstead!

Hoping she's playing Hera Syndulla.

I’m so stoked with The Clone Wars recommendation now (thank you!).

I found a chronological list of episodes and also went back to Episode 1 and 2 to refresh my knowledge and it really is enhancing the Star Wars Back story for me.

I’m averaging about 2-3 episodes a day and it’s such an easy watch, especially the little story Arcs they have.

I’ve just watched the pair of episodes where R2 goes missing and loved every second. I can’t get enough

The mixed up chronology is annoying, but it's great that you're enjoying the show.

Just followed it up with JaJa stumbling into saving A captured Padme by making everyone think he was a Jedi! Fantastic character work right there!

Not even finished this episode and this has been the best episode by far! I bloody love this episode

Sadly that’s because its basically an episode of the Mandalorian rather than Boba Fett

All the call backs as well

Do not click the spoiler till you’ve watched the episode by the way

Edit, just finished, what a strawberry floating amazing episode

Makes you appreciate Ahsoka being in The Mandalorian more. Her story arc throughout is fantastic.

Great episode, loved all the call-backs, but, Boba's absence was keenly felt.

The ring world was cool to see, and fitting, considering that megastructures like the planet-encircling Ringo Vinda have long been a part of the SW galaxy.

Interesting to see Din back with the cult. I figured Paz and the Armorer survived, and also expected Paz to fight to get the Darksaber back. Didn't expect them to boot Din out of their little club though, so all that's some huge unfinished business going into Mando S3. Setting up for several major fights.

We've not seen the last of Bo-Katan, or, I thinks, Luke. If anyone can teach Din to Darksaber, it's one of them. Likely the latter, considering Din's literally off to visit the little guy. Training montage, go!

Finally some shots of the Purge of Mandalore. Very WW2/Terminator-y.

Grogu's little gift pouch is the cutest.

Rodian child is also the cutest.

BD droid is additionally the cutest.

Naboo N-1 Hot Rod is hilarious. I mean, it's cool, clearly modeled on the old 70s Dukes of Hazzard, Nightrider type cars of the old action shows/movies, but that engine bit sticking out the top of the front looks silly to me. Someone stick some chromium plating over that.

Jawa dating sounds great, let's get more on that next time please. Furry, she said? ;)

Jawa find-a-thing service also sounds great. Can Boba get captured by them for a few episodes please? I wanna know more about the resourceful little junk traders.

Great to see some of the old Pod Racing circuit again, really cool. Also the X-Wing pilots, very fun little interaction.

But, I missed Tem. Would've been cool if he had turned up and helped put the ship together.

Also, does nobody else miss the old John Williams Tatooine tracks, like the Desert and the Robot Auction? I would love to hear some BoBF versions of them.

As good as that was, it's kind of highlighted to me that we really didn't need Book of Boba Fett. Little has happened across the previous 4 episodes that couldn't have been done in a mid season Mando arc. I'm just not sure we're going to get any kind of satisfactory conclusion across only two more episodes.

Sort of agree with you to be honest. But it’s raised my expectations for the next episode.

I guess as well, as this universe gets hugely expanded each season or spin off won’t be as good as another and some won’t be as explosive or engaging.

The show was described early last year as Mandalorian season 2.5, if I recall. :shifty:

Just finished Episode 4 which was better however, still not feeling it. Has the Star Wars universe really benefited from this season? No, not really.
