Great Bad Batch finale, I figured the plot would take that direction but, nevertheless, I came away satisfied. Looks like there's a lot to look forward to moving forward.

As an aside, I'm in the midst of the Battlefront: Twilight Company audiobook, which is surprisingly great, and it made a direct mention that Clone Commandos were the trainers of the first generations of Stormtroopers, in the Empire's inception youth. Nice little link there, alongside the link to the Mandalorian.

Speaking of cool links, the Imperial cloning lab in the forest-covered mountain is super reminiscent of Wayland from the original Thrawn trilogy. With Ahsoka on Thrawn's trail, with apparently a network of industrial centers supplying his Imperial fleet, are they perhaps setting up a revised Thrawn Trilogy for the new post-OT era?

And, does anyone else wonder if Echo Base on Hoth might've been named after Echo the, you know, clone?

Carl Weathers wrote:“[…] And so now we are gonna start a new season of ‘The Mandalorian’ in the next month. And I get to be in front of the camera again, and I get to direct again. So I hope you all stay on the lookout for it, watch it, and support it.

:o :D

I'm sure it won't air until next year, but, strawberry floating hooray!

Didn't know Star Wars: Visions was a thing or had no interest in it but that trailer was sweet.

Visions does indeed look rather good

I've recently allowed myself to fall into the trap of collecting the Star Wars Vintage Collection of figures. I've several at the moment, including Darth Vader, Mando and a Scout Trooper from Fallen Order. The figures are great, but it's the old style Kenner boxes they come in that are the real draw. Takes me right back to my childhood.

Vintage Collection figures are great, I have a few myself. Yes it's become a bit of a problem, no I don't want to do anything about it. :shifty: Intending to make some dioramas to put in a display case, actually.

My pride and joy is the Special Edition box with 501st Clones Echo, Fives and Jesse. Really want the upcoming Antoc Merrick release with accompanying Blue Squadron X-Wing, and I need to find the Rogue One Imperial Tank set because I've always had my eye on that but never had the money when I came across it.

Upcoming Black Series re-release of the Rogue One crew looks excellent, new face molds and way better paint jobs all around, by the looks of it.

Just watched the first episode of Star Wars Visions.

What an opener! Absolutely beautiful artwork and samurai Star Wars is so cool I can't believe it hasn't been done before.

As a massive fan of Japanese animation I was bound to love Visions, but genuinely it's some of the best Star Wars content I've ever seen. I've seen up to episode 5 and given some of my favourite studios have appeared already it's been great.

Ahsoka is the wandering Samurai. Her appearance in the Mandalorian is reflective of that.

I really wasn't expecting to dislike that first episode as much as I did following the initial trailer. I found it really painfully derivative and the animation really lacking. Each episode is made by a different studio, right? So hopefully there's something for me but, much like with Marvel's What If?, I'm not in a rush to find out.

Wow Visions so far has been incredible. All the episodes are beautifully animated and they're all wonderful little stories in their own right. The T0-B1 episode was really heartwarming and even had Nozawa Masako (Goku's voice actor) which was such a big surprise.

Watched T0-B1 last night, and it was absolutely adorable, and a really great little story in general.

Tatooine Rhapsody I watched as well. Temeura Morrison reprising his role as Boba Fett was wonderful - mostly as I was expecting Dee Bradley Baker, who usually does the Cloney voices for cartoons. The story was a very interesting angle on the SW galaxy - a mid-2000s Hot Topic emo band kind of take. You don't hear much about music in the galaxy outside of the Tatooine-based acts from ANH & RotJ, and one from I believe the Last Shot, a great recent Han & Lando novel. Anyway, yeah, really liked it, it's a great adventure.

Think I'm gonna need this. :slol:

Started watching Visions last night.
First episode was the highlight for me, started really strong and looked fantastic. Loved the feudal Japan crossover.

Then it went downhill from there for me.
Stopped watching after the Twins episode, which I'm sorry to say, was utter dog gooseberry fool

Curious if the studios for Visions were told to include the 'I got a bad feeling about this' line or if they all individually thought they were very clever and funny for putting it in.

It's just too easy to get a character to say it and have a certain subset of fans (read: the meme culturists) get massively excited over it. At least the new LEGO Star Wars had the decency to interupt it before it was fully said, and poking fun at how overused it seems these days.

Big huge casting news, per the reliable folks at Hollywood Reporter, for the live action Ahsoka TV show: Hayden Christensen :datass:
