The first one was a real event movie, I remember going with friends and watching it at an IMAX. The 3D was magical and it really felt we were transported to another world. The Avatar situation is truly bizarre. They completed missed the window for a sequel, it's been completely forgotten about by audiences, and now over ten years later they're coming back with four sequels?!
I could understand doing 2, and filming them back to back to save costs etc but I'm really not sure audiences in the 2020s will have an appetite for 4 Avatar movies.
On the other hand, it's James Cameron so they'll all probably make bank.

It wouldn't work in the film at all, of course; the tone as compared to the rest of the picture is completely off, and the battle itself ignores all of the growth Obi-Wan had been through over the previous years that left him above the need for such flashy fighting.
The battle in the final cut of the film was based on Kendo fighting, but it was much more spiritual and emotional than physical.

It's cool to watch, but wouldn't actually make much sense in the film universe. Obi-Wan and Vader are both old men by the time A New Hope rolls around, they're both strong with the force but physically they're past it.

Yoda is an alien that was 800 years old in ESB, I assume his biology is a bit different to the regular "human" characters

If it was a long time ago in a galaxy far far away, then the “human” characters are also aliens.
