From the look of Rey, she seems to be channelling Palpatine with the pale complexion and robes. If it's not a vision and she does somehow get corrupted by the dark side, she does an Anakin in the secret ending of the Revenge of the Sith game, leaving Kylo to try to bring her back before she unleashes devastation upon the galaxy.

That's not Rey. It's a clone. Rey is a clone. Hence the lack of memories. She was stolen and raised good. Good Rey Vs bad Rey and then Kylo helping good Rey but dying. Emperor planned to be cloned too and so it's an evil clone of him. Or the one that died was a clone. Basically clones clones clones and palps talking about his old master and how he learnt from him. Etc. gooseberry fool but will be fan service.

My money has been on Rey being a direct Palpatine clone from the beginning. That's why she's so powerful with the force. She might have been smuggled out as a baby by some scientists who left her with some crap foster parents.
They then gave her up for a few creds and left her on Jakku. We then get an 'im your father' moment from palpatine's ghost. She turns to the dark side and then the new Skywalker rises to stop her: Ben Solo (who is part of the Skywalker lineage)

It could be that the emperor's clones that he planned to inhabit upon his death gained sentience and rebelled against him. This would explain where Snoke came from.
