Well worth a look and a sale on currently for any xmas gift ideas.

The Boba Fett one is a particular favourite.

Those are so cleverly done.

D-0, another droid they built that properly works, just like BB-8. Showcased live during the Celebration panel just as BB-8 was for Force Awakens.

I even think the Knights of Ren look like gooseberry fool. More Mad Max than Star Wars.

They look like a series of video game bosses you'd get a bit bored once the fourth fight comes along.

My mate keeps trying to convince me to see the final film. He's sent me countless references to the EU and how it makes Palpatines return legit.

I stick to my vow. If Palpatine survived ROTJ.

I'm out. At least in the cinema.

You know what that Knights of Ren cover reminds me of?

The Warriors.

Not in a good way.

Yeah that Knights of Ren cover does look bad, the designs are properly phoned in. It's like when a game sells well and so they rush out a sequel and have to knock up a bunch of bosses quickly - "just re-hash something we already have 5 times!"

Also how strawberry floating big is Kylo's hand compared to Rey's in that last cover!? Must be where he stores all of this midichlorians.

Just watched Rogue One again. TLJ is still the best of the most recent SW films but the last third of RO might be the best Star Wars has ever been, ever. It's just so incredibly well plotted and executed and pulls exactly the right nostalgia triggers at exactly the right time.

ESB=TLJ>RO>RoTJ>ANH>TFA>>>Solo>Revenge>>>>>>>TPM>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>AoTC

I liked the last Jedi but it has no place ahead of the original trilogy.

Booked tickets to see Rise of the Skywalker on the Friday night after it comes out with my Dad and Brother :toot: . Think I should be able to avoid spoilers for two days.

Empire is the only film from the original trilogy that's genuinely great. ANH is extremely slow and rather dull, and a bunch of RoTJ's runtime is taken up by the pointless Jabba section and teddy bears with rocks.

Taf

Spot on summary of the original trilogy there. Just how slow ANH is really surprised me on my most recent re-watch, particularly the first half.

I still need to watch Solo and Rogue One. Got a feeling I will really like Rogue One but find Solo a disappointment.
