I’m hoping Vader’s role in Kenobi will focus a bit on him hell bent on finding Kenobi, going to planets he’s heard rumours of Jedi being seen on and waging solo war on the people further fuelling his hatred and connection to the dark side. I doubt Vader and Kenobi will actually fight.

Do you know what, I'd be all for him appearing looking like this, Kenobi being all ".......Anakin??" then we realise at some point early on, Palpatine (who else) switched him out for a clone and the one we see in episode 2-3 isn't really him.

No real reason, just because it's make star wars people go mental.

No idea. I feel if it was, they would have said, though. Although, considering the scene at the end of last week's Mandalorian episode, maybe they felt saying it's set within the same time period is all that was needed.

I had a quick look and he's aged really well, flashbacks to the Clone Wars would've been weird if he'd had late onset Wil Wheaton or Macaulay Culkin syndrome
