They need Jake Lloyd.

This guy?

Do you know what, I'd be all for him appearing looking like this, Kenobi being all ".......Anakin??" then we realise at some point early on, Palpatine (who else) switched him out for a clone and the one we see in episode 2-3 isn't really him.

No real reason, just because it's make star wars people go mental.

I think Jake Lloyd was sectioned for paranoid schizophrenia so a cameo is unlikely.

After finishing the Mandalorian yesterday I immediately reinstalled Star Wars Battlefront 2. God it's so good. I can't believe they managed to fix it.

I've not played that since before the Rogue One "update" back in the Spring. strawberry float, I wish they'd had more time and resources, could've had a Mandalorian update or two, Rebels updates, ugh. There's so many characters and places they could do now, having anything but a large team is never going to work like it might once have.

Squadrons is pretty good to play right now though. I'll never be able to play piloting outside VR again, it's so damn good.

Has anyone watched the Lego Star wars Christmas special on Disney plus? Is it worth a watch?

I caught it a couple of weeks ago, it's pretty good, not as funny as hoped perhaps but worth a watch.

Yeah, it's good. It's a fun adventure through various eras of Star Wars with a nice Chrstmas message tying the story together that relates to the Jedi teachings. Well worth it for any fan.

We've just got to season 5 of Clone Wars and I know I'm preaching to the converted but it's so good. It even makes the prequel films better.

Sith, a Jedi, and a Mandalorian walk into a bar...

They start talking and after a few drinks the conversation shifts to cars. The Jedi living a life of austerity and frugality only has a 1991 Camry. The Sith and Mando laughs at him saying he has a Bad Car.

The Sith having manipulated others into giving him their wealth shows off his McClaren F1. The patrons at the bar are amazed and even the Jedi has to admit it’s a nice ride. They both end up saying it’s a Good Car.

The Mandalorian walks around the corner and after a few minutes comes screaming back on his jet pack and blows up the other cars.

He has the Beskar.

 Glad you're enjoying it, man! It adds a lot to the prequel era, and the franchise as a whole.

After having watched Clone Wars for the first time this year it really is great  few story arcs you can probably skip if you want but for the most part, fantastic stuff!

I'm introducing my girlfriend to the series, so I've been rewatching it over the last few months. I'd forgotten just how fantastic Landing at Point Rain was.

I'm currently working my way through the Mandalorian and really enjoying it but feel like I am missing a lot because I don't know anything about the lore. I've watched all the films, including Solo and Rogue One, but this is the first Star Wars thing I have consumed outside of them. What's the best way for me to get a bit more up to speed with the extended universe without reading tons of books (because a lifetime is short and there are literally thousands of books I would rather read than anything Star Wars related, sorry)? Would the Clone Wars animated series be a good option?

Clone Wars (episode order if you're looking for seasons 1-3 to make sense) and Rebels, ideally. Both are good and fun, but also deal with some pretty dark and adult themes, and are all you'll need in terms of lore catch-up.

It's essential if you want to understand who Ahsoka and Thrawn are as characters beyond being randos who turned up or got mentioned and everyone went crazy over them, yeah.

If you're not bothered, they'll probably turn up in Ahsoka's show anyway, with enough exposition to clue viewers in.

But the shows are worth watching because they're good, and they have great characters who so far haven't haven't showed up elsewhere - Hondo, Cad Bane, Rex, Bendu, the crew of the Ghost, etc. They made Darth Maul and the Clones solidly interesting characters, and made the Force more magical again. Plus, the action is usually pretty solid.

Rebels' only real failure was Yoda. They did ma boi wrong, made him look like a Fisher Price dildo or something.

John Boyega probably does. Can't imagine that Mark Hamill cares that deeply about the minutiae, either.
