Interesting to see her contradicting her coach in her post-match interview too. He admitted to coaching immediately after the match and said everyone does it. She has denied it and said "I have no idea why he has said that". That'll be a conversation I'd like to be a fly on the wall for.

It was pretty horrible and entirely avoidable. Everything the umpire did was justifiable.

You have to admire and applaud Serena's achievements in tennis but it does appear that she has let herself down with that behaviour. It was way out of line.

Both she and the crowd were a disgrace.

It's interesting that Billie Jean King has defended her but I'm not sure there's much you can do to defend that behaviour.
