The only way for this to be funnier is if Nadal wins his 21st slam.

The assassination attempt on the best sportsman in the world is over, 50 bullets to Novak’s chest

His father is such a strawberry floating tool.

More trouble for Novax:
Novak Djokovic could be facing more trouble at the next Grand Slam - after France insisted on a covid pass barring the unvaccinated from all sports arenas.

The French Open is the next Slam in the tennis calendar taking place in May and Djokovic was expected to participate without complication - but the new Covid Pass has changed that.

France's lower house voted by 215 to 58 to give final approval to a vaccine pass that will exclude the unvaccinated from restaurants, sports arenas and other venues. It will apply to everybody over the age of 16 and the law will take effect shortly.

'All the big events which will take place in France will adopt the Covid Pass. Who would understand if we asked our citizens to make an effort and respect the rules and we then authorised some to get out of them?'

The news comes after Djokovic was deported from Australia after his visa was cancelled by authorities in the country. He has been banned from the country for three years.

Djokovic left Australia late on Sunday night after 12 days of legal wrangling saw the tennis champion finally exhaust all options, with the full bench of the Federal Court siding with Australia's immigration minister Alex Hawke's decision to cancel the visa.

Good. If someone chooses not to be vaccinated then they should accept the rules from the rest of the world‘s governments who have rules to protect its citizens who have bothered to get vaccinated from those who choose not to, whether domestically or internationally

Murray and Raducanu out to nobodies.

Never mind, that'll allow Emma to continue focusing on her media career.

Her palm was strawberry floated and she couldn't hit a proper forehand for most of the match!

She had a blister which speaks to poor pre-tournament preparation.

She had covid in December and missed 20 days of training, so had to cram in 12 hour training days this month.

Well, I'm sure she would have preferred to have not caught Covid (which she's still apparently feeling the after-effects of) and had her training completely messed up.

EDIT: Dang, beaten to it.

There's no salt here. I supported her throughout the US Open but after winning it she stated she needed to rush back to London to focus on her media career, when she should have been focused on qualifying for the end of year tournament.

I mean if that's her priority then that's obviously her prerogative, I think she should focus on the tennis.

Did she? That sounds pretty odd. What exactly did she say, in context?

She was being asked about her plans just after winning the US Open. I can't find explicit mention of the media stuff as I can't recall where I saw it, but she mentions getting over to London here but she lives (lived?) in Bromley at the time. She does mention she was unsure about Indian Wells which was the next big WTA event.

Unsure that she had a place in the tournament at that stage. Not unsure that she could be arsed.
