Soderling probably would have won one especially as he was basically a consistent Wawrinka.

Can't really have a go at Berdych. He's just not better than the big four and in another era he may have sneaked a slam.

Williams fell apart after that very close first set. Kudos to Muguruza there. She held her nerve to save her service at 5-4 and then again to win that first set. Wonderful athleticism and power on display. A worthy champ. Couldn't have seen Konta winning that if she'd got past Williams.

Good start to the match by Cilic, have a feeling he might do it today, he has been so good on the grass this year.

Looks like Roger is in a hurry to find out who the new Doctor Who is.

 now that's motivation

Hope Cilic is well enough to at least play out the match.

Didn't want him to win but feel really sad for Cilic. :(

Not the way Federer would have wanted to win either, I'm sure.

Shame Cilic couldn't push him as much as he would have wanted. :(

Great job by Sir Andy. Deciding foolishly trying to play. Then pulls out after the draw is made. If he didn't do that then Fedal wouldn't be on the same side of the draw. He's completely ruined the draw. Dick move by him.

I'm sure you wouldn't be saying that if Novak pulled the same stunt on Murray. He should have pulled out the moment he couldn't make Cincy. As he was never going to stand a chance with very little warm up.

It means now for the fans also that Fedal will most likely play on the same day as they on the same side of the draw. So unlucky for people who are buying tickets on days they aren't playing.

Am I the only person who thinks seeding in tennis is a bit stupid anyway?
