He’s just been far from his best there. Lost in four sets.

I reckon Thiem could well take out Rafa tonight. He's not looked his best either.

Thank god Delpo beat Trumpner!

I would be sad, but excited for Thiem if he can finally convert his game to hardcourt. It's taken him long enough!

I think only the heat and humidity can beat Djokovic at this point. Millman did well against Federer but Fed absolutely gifted him so many points. Can't see Djokovic doing the same. Haven't looked at the draw properly - could Rafa and Novak meet in the final? That could be epic given their Wimbledon match.

I love that the 'old guard' are still competitive but I would really like to see some of the new guys start winning slams. Thiem played well but I never really believed he would beat Nadal. Great match though, and I think Del Potro will be a big challenge for Nadal!

Isner is an awful player. So one dimensional. Glad he got twatted. Osaka vs Keys today should be great!

Del Potro in 4 tonight, surely. There's only so many 4hr+ matches you can play in extreme humidity before collapsing in a little heap

Djokovic in 3, easy. That's not a rivalry at all.

It’s nowhere near as stuffy in New York today as it has been for the past week

She also resorted to claiming sexism for seemingly no reason.

Think Serena owes the paying public an apology for that! That’s three US Open she got it wrong! Kicked out of 2009, the final against Sam Stosur and this one.

Can't believe she went so batshit over a coaching violation, never seen anything like it.

This pantomime is unfair on Osaka too, she was phenomenal.
