And yeah...Fun House didn't reach the lofty position of the 60s...

Its worth adding in the making of this I realised I've probably seen 1,000 different UK gameshows, so anything in my top 100 is doing very well indeed. I really, really like all these shows.

In terms of Gladiators knock-offs, do you remember Ice Warriors?

I remember Ice Warriors but I don’t think I ever actually watched it. I did watch quite a few episodes of Battledome, another Gladiators knock off from the US. I first found about the show when they were feuding with WCW.

I always thought ice warriors should of gone on longer than it did, was a fun show

Has that Virtual Reality thing from the early 90s with Craig Charles presenting been on the list yet? That was some top drawer stuff back in the day!

I presume the other Craig Charles classic Robot Wars is also on the list? Also that Takeshis Castle is probably not a valid entry as this is about UK gameshows?

Takeshi's Castle is not on the list as its no UK yes.

I could have very easily stretched this out to be about international gameshows, but my level of expertise is not the same. There are many, many, many more people more qualified to talk about US gameshows for instance.
