If you've had any experience with The Walking Dead before then you'll know that it won't be "yet another game with zombies in", the series has always focused on character interaction and relationships rather than your traditional zombie fighting stuff - that's what sets it apart. Don't see the point in posting in the thread just to say you're not interested, though :?

Just sharing my thoughts about another zombie game in a sea of zombie games, only difference being is that this one happens to be from a zombie TV series I've enjoyed and am continuing to enjoy, as I clearly stated above. Hence my post.

However, it is still just another video game with zombies in it regardless of it's focus. *shrug*

Nope, it's based on and crosses over with the story in the comics rather than from the TV show (which is a great deal different).

How many point & click zombie games are there around? You could always try the 360 demo when it's out, then you'll get a good idea of how it plays :) Personally I think writing off the game without playing it just because it has zombies in it is pretty silly.

Well I've not read the comics so can only go on what I've watched of the TV show. Without me having to buy a bunch of graphic novels how different is it?

I'm not writing it off Maf, and I'm sure it's very good given the reviews, just on a personal note I've had my fill of games featuring zombies for the time being. That's not to say I won't take a look at a later date, just not right now, that's all I was saying. 8-)

How different? a lot different. The story has gone in a reallty different direction, some of the key characters are very different and focus of the story if different.

The comic is brilliant.

Finished it. Telltale at their best. Emotional, good characters, believeable puzzles, gripping story and decisions that actually change the game.

The Verge gave it 9/10.

Will probably pick it up at some point.

This game is stressful as strawberry float to play. Very atmospheric and has the same feel to it that the comic had. Beautiful graphics too that fit the mood just right.

I hate Zombies. :(

I would say so :shifty:

Took just over two hours to complete that episode. Definitely the best thing Telltale have done yet, absolutely loved it and didn't want it to end. The writing and characters are excellent, particularly Clementine  and the art style is just like a coloured version of the comics. Here's some non-spoiler screens:

Knew the game was going to be good, but it's surpassed my expectations.

Good to hear Telltale have put Jurassic Park behind them, and created something special. Looking forward to playing this a lot more now.

The only negative so far, like Rog was saying, is the audio quality of the dialogue. It sounds really low quality and compressed at times, I guess it was to try and keep the file size down but it's pretty jarring at firs.

strawberry float off Brer, Tales of Monkey Island and the Sam and Max Seasons have been incredible!

Also BTTF is apparently pretty good (own it, still not played it).

The stupid wacky puzzle solutions killed Sam & Max for me. None of that nonsense in this.

Apart from the fact that the puzzle were awful, don't forget the fact that Sam and Max just aren't funny.

Yeah it was trying too hard to be funny and silly at times.

Nah, Tales of Monkey Island was great once it found its groove.

Still isn't up on XBLA, might have to go with the PC version.

I second the love for Tales of Monkey Island. The further the series got and the more comfortable Telltale got in Guybrush's shoes, the better the games became.

Will be keeping an eye on this, love the comics.
