Are you pro or anti Christmas?

It's the war to end all wars (according to fox news) and if you don't pick a side you're worse than ISIS and Hitler combined so pick a side :capnscotty: .

I'm already half way through my christmas shopping, started earlier than normal this year and have been making solid progress.

I love Christmas, I just hate that it seems to last 2 months now, by the time it's Christmas Eve you're already sick of it.

Halloween should be dragged out longer like in America.

Lists will be drawn up from this thread.

And I'll be checking them twice :capnscotty:

I like the food. So yes.

But it's way too strawberry floating early for Christmas decorations.

I love Christmas but it does start too early. Late November/start of December is when the hype should start.

I’m annoyed that a Christmas thread has started in November but pro Christmas.

Christmas is great but shouldn't start until December. I heard a Christmas song food shopping yesterday far too early.

I work in retail, therefore it is an abomination and can strawberry float off.

Working in retail is a really good way to rid yourself of the Christmas spirit. Do you suffer the horror of pumped in Christmas music or is it just the yearly nightmare of seeing Christmas stock turn up months before the event?

I work in retail as well but thankfully our store/company (?) only gets a music licence for one month so we don't have the same CD playing on repeat until December the 1st, then after Christmas they play a random CD till the end of December. I'd say it's a combination of the music, the Christmas stock arriving very early and lastly all the customers filling your day with Christmas cheer especially as you get nearer the big day :dread:

Working in retail does take the shine off Christmas but I still enjoy it when the day comes around :)

Agree with others that it does start way too early in retail, advertising etc.

We have a bunch of family birthdays throughout October and November which is great as everyone is focussed on those so Christmas doesn't really get a look in until it's properly time for it! :toot:

I love Christmas. Decorating the flat with more fairy lights is always fun, and I always like buying stuff for other people.
