For me, neither Ciara or Dennis were anywhere near as scary as this one...

I still remember that night vividly, i could hear each gust coming up off the sea before it slammed into the side of the house with unbelievable force.

The best one was Storm Orphelia, I got sent home from work and it was a big nothing burger where I lived. It was great.

A little extreme even for me but I'd give anything for snowy winters. And regularly too. I hate the idea that from now on our winters are going to be just mild and a bit rainy.

we don't get harsh winters like they did in the 60's when one year people got snowed in and you go walk across the thames. Only extreme years we get snow but that only last a few days before it becomes milder. This year in the south it was hardly a winter considering how mild it was

We did have a couple of snowy harsh ones around 2009-11, so they do still happen sometimes.

What we need is the gulf steam to stop.

Yeah they were the last good ones that I can recall.

09-10 in particular was great for snow, had at least a week where they closed the office so we had to work from home. Completed all of Assassin's Creed 1 and 2 in that time. :slol:

The Beast from The East was amazing, I'd happily have another winter like that. This winter and last were just bad and I'm not convinced we'll have a decent winter any time soon. I miss snow.

I thought the beast from the east was a bit of a let down really. Don't remember it resulting in much around our way.

I'm getting seriously sick and tired of all this strawberry floating rain.

strawberry float off already.

One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.

The rain and wind were hammering my window all night and they're now back again. Atrocious!
