Sorry to hear that so many are suffering. Some time I'm going to see if I can properly investigate what my allergies actually are - I suffer with hayfever symptoms badly at times but never seemingly at the time of year that everyone else does!

Been a lovely day here, 27C at the peak which was spot on IMO. Looking like a nice evening too, still bright and clear but just that little bit cooler - contemplating a beer in the garden right now!

It's doubly annoying because it seems to get much worse in the evenings, so I work all day and then have my evenings ruined with extremely watery eyes and a perma-drip nose with long bouts of sneezing.

Still hot as hell here, but then i'm forever cursed with a west facing room which means the sun shines directly in of an evening which makes things ten times worse.

I'm double dosing loratadine atm. One in the morning and one when I get home.

Loratadine is the king for me, cetirizine hydrochloride does nothing

Cetirizine and Loratadine sadly didn't work for me, hence i ended up on fexofenadine.

The pollen levels today though i think are beyond even the capability of one of those tablets.

I'm grateful that I don't have hayfever too and 'only' have to deal with the physical discomfort and effects on my mental health. I really feel for those of you who have to deal with hayfever on top of everything else.

Please do not post this in the "No Context" thread

I'm on those and take one as soon as I wake up, but it seems to wear off by about 4pm, maybe I need to be double dosing? Can you OD on hayfever pills? :shifty:

It's not worth the risk.

I've been taking two, one a day tablets for years. My doctor told me it was fine.

Dude, I can barely deal with temps above 22C. I'm Mr Freeze without the hot wife to save or cool story.

It should be dropping to near enough 15 throughout the night, but it'll still be humid as hell. This heat will be trapped in the air, so please let the rain fall!

Fexofenadine is the one. I still need to take it twice a day at the moment, strawberry floating hayfever :x
