Unless it's hammering it down, very windy or well down into the minus figures I always sleep with my window open as I find it much easier to actually get to sleep that way. People who know me do find it a little odd though, not just because I have my window open as much as I can but because its accompanied by using a 4.5 tog quilt all year round :)

I'm the same, it has to be really cold before I start to feel it enough to close the window at night. I have a 1 tog duvet all year round which people find odd. My ex used to really feel the cold and having the winter duvet plus accompanying blankets and hot water bottles was horrible.

I used to always have the window open at night. Even in the coldest months. I stopped doing it after moving into central Bristol, partially because the wife is always cold and partially because the noise of the city would keep me awake.

Man, the wind is super strong here in south-east London. Apparently it's hitting 50mph over the next few hours :o .

One of my fence panels has collapsed, and two of my neighbours have sustained damage to their fences.

We will rebuild.

Only just saw this post, I was in London too that day and slightly stupidly decided it would be a good idea to climb the monument down by London bridge.

The wind up there was so strong I was very nearly swept off my feet, thankfully the viewing platform is a metal cage which stops people from falling.

We've just had twenty minutes of torrential hail here in south-east London. The grass looks like it has a light covering of snow :dread: .

Been lovely all weekend, i headed to the seaside, along with pretty much everyone else in the country judging by the traffic.

It's too hot and it makes me uncomfortable. It's currently 26c (79f) and I'm more of a 21c (70f) kinda guy.

Raining here, overcast and muggy this morning though, rains certainly helping make it feel a little fresher.

Jawa after reading through the thread I get the impression that you’re not too happy if the weather changes even slightly from 21 and bright.

We’ve had three days of dark grey skies and rain and I’ve loved every second of it, except when it was my turn to walk Loki. There’s something about spending a really shitty day watching tv or playing the XBox that I find really nostalgic.

Man, here in south London it's overcast but so hot and stuffy. The feel is uncomfortable... way too heavy.
