So they're like an augmented reality / VR placeholder for pieces of paper? What functionality do you get, being able to actually grab and move their position within the cockpit like an actual object?

They totally could be used in VR! Most of the time I play DCS world - In which (if there is an aircraft with the MFCD's) the buttons have a 1-1 mapping so for me it gives me a lot of functionality without having to move my mouse around a virtual cockpit.

Same is true for the flight sticks, I have one that is a replica F/A-18 and one that is a replica F-16 / A-10c

I agree, it is mental but I get by with TrackIR though.

Going to upgrade my GPU when the new 30xx series come out then probably get an ultrawide.

I got the new "Classic Intellimouse" in the post today - my previous one had finally given up the ghosr, kept double-clicking and opening all my grot when I just wanted to look at the thumbnails :roll:

New one seems nice and swish, much more subtle underlighting than the HAL red.
