At home this morning whilst work get their gooseberry fool together about whether we are supposed to be in the office or not.

Sat in the kitchen and enjoying the sunshine as a nice backdrop before I inevitably get forced back in to the office later. :dread:

My corner of the office. We always wanted to make a dedicated office space for both of us (partner works from home as standard) and this forced us to actually do it. Quite pleasant by the window.

My setup this morning, very much enjoying the weather whilst I monitor the ongoing crisis!

Work wouldn't let me take any additional monitors so I took a second laptop instead...

My employer has been really supportive. A couple of weeks ago they suggested taking home whatever equipment we need, and our facilities team would arrange getting them transported home for us. This morning I saw an email from one of my senior managers saying if we need anything else, we can expense $100 worth of equipment as well as paying for faster broadband packages if required.
Still sucks working at home though.

Probably, but I wasn't the one to buy it so I'm not 100% sure. strawberry floating godsend it can get wider as there's no where else in the house that would work as well as this space, even if being the kitchen isn't ideal. Being able to shrink it back up at the end of the day at least helps 'hide' it away a bit, which is really good.

It’s just my regular PC setup with the work laptop slotted in.

I have a KM switch for using the keyboard, mouse and microphone on both machines without having to fiddle with wires, and a HDMI switch for the left monitor, but the big screen still requires me to change the DisplayPort cable for work vs play. Don’t know if I can be bothered with a DisplayPort switch as they seem to be either expensive or unreliable.

I’m trying to source a webcam because the laptop one is garbage and at a super unflattering angle and we’re required to use them as much as possible, but they’re so strawberry floating hard to find in stock.

Any decent monitor recommendations? Guess around 24".

Just for working really, don't want to spend too much. I can't hack the laptop anymore.

Appears to be the side profile of someone's head to me on a graphic novel or something

What?! I have no idea which part of the image you're looking at but the answer is most certainly no!

Have to admit I've already pulled one off to it, and I don't even know what it is. Thought I'd get one in before it's confirmed as non-porn.

It’s there but really small, if you look really closely on the top of the mountain there is a blonde girl getting pounded by a yeti.
