The Game does seem to push you to be with Yennefer but if you think about it, she treats Geralt with disdain almost all the time. :x

It definitely seems to push you towards Yennefer, Geralt doesn’t seem to care who he gets with throughout the game though

I mean Triss is hardly a role model of treating Geralt well, she enchants him in the books to get some witcher action and in the games takes advantage of his memory loss to shack up with him as well

I never did play Blood and Wine but I'm thinking of starting a brand new playthrough once this bloody heat subsides. I understand that a character from the books features heavily in the DLC so I'll make sure I play it this time. And I'll be siding with Yennefer again as it just wouldn't feel right to go with Triss.

Blood and Wine is a phenomenal piece of DLC, definitely worth playing

I will be giving this another go when I get a Series X.

It really didn't click with me first time around. The loading times were one of the issues I had with it.

I’m sure it’s the same team doing the next gen version that did the Switch port too. Not sure if this has been mentioned elsewhere but I recall them saying at the recent Witcher event that the Witcher 3 is getting some Netflix based DLC, presume it’ll just be some sets of Geralt’s armour from the show, maybe shoehorn in ‘Toss a Coin to Your Witcher’ at some point too.

Yeah they announced some Netflix tie in DLC at the Witcher Con, I don't think anyone expects it to be anything more than a few cosmetic items but it's still a nice bonus!

Yep Gwent is the in universe card game that you can play and it's pretty fun! The stand alone Gwent game is a bit more expanded and in depth but the one in Witcher 3 is still worth getting involved with!

The in-game Gwent is better than the standalone Gwent.

It's also a rip off of Condottiere. An IRL card game.

I've never actually played the standalone one to be fair!

I like Gwent in this though, was a nice addition to things and another area where Cyberpunk feel lacking - would it have killed them to put some cool cyberware minigames in there? System Shock was doing that 25 strawberry floating years ago!

I still feel like one of the handful of players who didn’t enjoy Gwent, just couldn’t get into it.

Yeah but System Shock 2 is quite possibly the greatest game ever made so it's a lot to live up to.

I believe all the cartridge versions were the complete one, it should say on the box. Think they’ve only done the separate versions for the benefit of the eShop.

Yeah probably wise, I found once it’d hooked me in it was almost impossible to put down till I finished it.
