I also got hooked and played as much as I could whenever I could. Need to check what playtime I racked up for the base game. Hearts Of Stone installed but want to finish Halo 4/The Master Chief before getting my gaming time sucked into the world of The Witcher.

It's been out a year, so that's just over 4.5hrs a week, not too bad really. I do tend to walk/trot around rather a lot just looking at stuff.

My Stats

Example of me just looking at stuff (don't open gamerforever its probably 900p)

Have the developer added anything major since it launched? Like new content etc, thats free, because i keep coming across missions I don't recall, granted it was nearly a year ago, but I still remember most of it.

Also, isn't gwent addictive :dread: Can you only win 1 card off a player when you beat him?

They added several missions at launch but other patches have been gameplay fixes and UI changes so you've just a bad memory! :)

Old age.

one last thing, the character section, when you assign the mutagen to the skill tree, the abilities you put into that, are they the only ones that are active? Or are all the skills that you put points into active?

only the ones that are active I'm afraid. BTW, the season pass is more than worth it.

Yeah 2 expansions one of them adding in an entire quest line that is brilliant and the second an entirely new area, for £20 its the best season pass I've bought, ever.

Well if your getting both its best to get the season pass as its £7.99 for Hearts of Stone and £15.99 for Blood and Wine. Season pass is £19.99.

Or buy a cheap code from eBay. I got HoS DLC on PS4 for £4.95 and by the time I get Blood and Wine it will be cheaper too.

Yeah Im not far into this tbh, level 8, Geralt still feels woefully underpowered. Ill buy the DLC packs when Im finished. Hopefully they'll be a little cheaper then

Yeah I did find at the start you're seriously getting mullered a lot, it doesn't help that the leveling only goes up when you complete a quest rather than what you kill. I remember going from level 10-20 in half the time it took to go from 1-10 which was really odd.

You do actually get a small amount of experience from killing stuff. It's not a lot and scales based on your level relative to the enemy, but it is there!

58 hours only - that cannot be right. I'm sure there was a glitch on a previous patch that reset the timer.

I checked yesterday and it was at 63 hours :slol: There's no way that's correct. I probably put half that into Blood and Wine. Damn you, counter!

Yeah mine is only showing 18 hours. I'm sure I've put more than that into Gwent alone..
