I finally brought the whole Bloody Baron story to a close the other day (at least, I'm guessing I did - finished Return to Crookback Bog) and I thought that was one of the best story quests that I've played, probably in any game.

Repeating (and agreeing) what's been said before, the quests and writing in this really are fantastic.

I must be doing something wrong with my finances though as I've only just made it to 4 figures and spend most of the time penniless!

Money was never a problem for me until that side quest in Hearts of Stone which requires you to shell out like 20K. I have nothing left.

Really enjoying the Skellige stuff so far. Love the personalities and the stories, feel like I'm in a proper Viking legend

On these winding paths though the poor character control is a real pain in the arse, Geralt tilting around every turn like a boat.

Not sure if you're already using this but look in the settings for an option called movement response (or something, you'll know when you see it). Change it from the default to alternative and Geralt will control a lot better.

A proper Viking legend, where everyone just happens to be Irish!

Absolutely love the game, characters, setting etc. But did have a bit of trouble reconciling the Irish accents with the Norse/Scandinavian stylings of Skellige.

I've just been impressed that they've implemented regional dialects into a strawberry floating game. Incredible lengths to go to make it feel like a real world and it works.

Ah the game has incredible production values and the acting is just fantastic. This is a game you live, you don't simply play the main quests only. Not many open world games are as good as this.

Brilliant game. Just completed the kahn morhan battle and I just love the group of people, interplay and world. I don't keep many games nowadays, but this will be with me got ages.... Finish the main game and then the dlc.

Pretty much same here. Completes most of the sidequests and have a bunch of treasure quests to do. I am sure theres a few sidequests I haven't stumbled upon yet too. The first dlc was brilliant and the second looks to be the real one we have been waiting for. I can't wait to get back into the world one final time, for a few weeks or so! I believe this is one game that i will replay one day before the end of this generation. Not many games keep me wanting more - fallout 4, for me was done the moment i completed the main quest and even with bloodborne i don't feel that i want to play the dlc. Blood and wine, dark souls 3 and uncharted 4 are all i really need until e3. Yakuza 5 will keep me going for a good few weeks yet and then there a few older games i want to get into like tomb raider, ico hd and even okami, although that may require a bit too mucj patience for me!

What a wonderful year of gaming we have in store.

Recently got back into playing this after months of just not feeling like playing any games.

It's sucked me right back in. Many of the side quests are more interesting than the main quests in other games and even the minor characters have depth to them. I'm actively avoiding the main quests as there's so much to do and I don't want to finish the main storyline too quickly.

The music is just gorgeous, and I've found myself humming and whistling the Fields of Ard Skellig theme over the past couple of days.

Did the Yennifer mission in Skellige this morning where you go to the top of a mountain. It was absolutely gorgeous, really heartfelt and in a great setting with characters you've grown to care about.

I'm level 29 now and have just got up to what I assume is the last mission. Been absolutely hammering this recently and don't want it to end but am looking forward to playing Hearts of Stone.

Without doubt one of the best games I've played. Aside from Red Dead and some of the Zeldas I don't think I've ever been this drawn in by a game world.

Didn't realize that was an option. That's a shame because Triss' are about the only tits in the game I've not seen.

Tits everywhere! Happy with yen this time, smashed triss' back doors in the witcher 2. I didn't really get into 2, but love this.

Level 31, completed all the contracts and all the treasure hunts. Lots of side quests are way under my level now, so I'll leave them.

The most wanted contract is awesome, really really nicely done!

Think one of my quests has suffered a glitch of some kind. The swords and dumplings one, I've done everything in Novigrad, went to Skellige and then when I go back to Novigrad no guide line appears and it won't load.

Anyone else had this.

Anyway I got bored of running around doing quests of notice boards as they just seemed like filler so I've moved on to the Isle of Mists, I guess I'm nearing the end.
