Thanks both, I'll just crack on with the main game and pick up the DLC later.

I could have got it in the last US Flash Sale, but wasn't really tempted by the 70c price reduction...!

No news yet on consoles. Thanks for the info on playing the DLC afterwards as well.

Rented the game a second time, and bought the DLC. Cannot wait to get stuck into this again!

PS4 patch is around 2.7GB. Blood & Wine is apparently around 11GB so looking forward to that taking about half a day to download from PSN. tomorrow.

The new UI is pretty slick, but it will take a little getting used to.

Love that you can zoom out further on the maps now, and you can't accidentally go to the world map by zooming out too far.

The Gwent book isn't as helpful as it first sounded. It just tells you "X cards in Skellige" or whatever

Blood and Wine out now for XB1 season Pass owners -

Somebody pulled the trigger earlier today. If you own the season pass look under My Games -> Witcher -> Menu -> Ready to install, the install the addon. Then load the game afresh and it activates

That Gwent book is less helpful than I was expecting.

Yeah, seriously. I'm not even sure what most of it means, each section says I'm missing around 50 cards, which has to be BS because I have loads. The patch also failed the gwent collection quest for me even though I have the missable cards that the changelog mentions.

"You have two cards missing in Velen!"

Thanks book. Velen's massive.

I guess they didn't want to undermine the effort put in by the people who already got the achievement

I'm glad I've never played a game of Gwent.* :datass:

*Bar first one you're forced to.

I think I played it once right at the start and completely ignored it since then.

No doubt I've said this before, in this very thread, regarding Gwent, but... I usually ignore mini games like these as I suck at 'em. Gwent however gets the balance between difficulty and entertainment *perfect* to have kept me coming back for more throughout my time on W3. I'll definitely be playing it again once I get back on the game.
