Can’t you just get Oblomov to do it for you? He seems to love the idea of warning/sacking people for the crime of being sick.

It's necessary when the person has attended work for around two months of an entire year, been through two occupational health referrals, received extensive, significant support paid for by the company, had working patterns changed to their favour, had work allocations adapted to their favour and still fails to come into work for more than 1-2 days in a row.

Or maybe I should continue to forever blow the limited money I have on paying this person for being off work all the time and leaving the rest of the team to pick up the slack, causing serious stress and impacting the quality of service?

Some of the bosses here went out for a “networking” meeting last night. One of them has emailed to say he is “working from home today” and two of them have text somebody here to say that they are coming in later and making up their hours as they are hungover and being sick. Only one of people that went has actually made it in this morning.

These are the same bosses that like to hand out written warnings if staff reach 3 sickness absences in a year. :lol:

I couldn't be dealing with that kind of gooseberry fool, I would probably end up getting fired as I would have to confront people who behaved like that! :lol:

Update: the two who were “coming in later” are now “working from home”. Well one of them is, I can clearly see from the systems that the other one hasn’t logged on since yesterday. :lol:

If it was piling up work on me or if they were dragging me away for written warnings, then I would be saying something. But my work doesn’t need any input from them and so I can’t be arsed making a fuss on behalf of people that can’t be arsed making a fuss.
