Ride the elephant over the alps to Italy and conquer Northern Italy.

This is the real take on it yes. I improvise all the sodding time regardless of how many times I've done that exact same task.

Whenever I'm involved in interviews I always tend to ask more open ended questions rather than "What does X mean?" or something else that is basically just a test of recall and tells you nothing about their personality or skills beyond that. More than anything I see it as just an exercise in getting someone talking so you can get a feel for how they think, interact with others and explore problems.

Logic puzzles are good but that one is just stupid. I live in a small flat, what could I possibly do with it? Beyond shooting it for the ivory.

Don't want to go to the clown school interview and think I'm at the gravedigger interview.

Today's interview couldn't have gone any better really so that's good.

Now I better crack on with work so I have time to prep for tomorrow's interview.

Great stuff, you got this!

I think we're almost as invested in this as you are by now, it's going to historic when you tell your current place you're leaving.

Oh absolutely. Zilly's battle with his job/search for alternative employment is taking over from Moggy's now concluded landlord/management company feud.

I'm still waiting for the moment when someone reveals that Zilnad is actually self employed and this whole thing has been a ruse.

Just think of the Phoenix Wright GIFs!

That'd be an impressive level of self-hate

Damn the strawberry floating weirdo. I'm done.

The twat only went and ordered me a new £300 monitor to help my eyes. Where's my multi 4k curved monitor set up and my £100 key cap set I was promised when I got into this gig? Spends it all on strawberry floating printers and constantly making concessions to customers instead of giving me a raise!

This feels quite good actually.

I'm being progressed to the next stage of the interview process and have been asked to arrange an online meeting with their Head of HR. They wanted it to be tomorrow morning but I have that other interview so I've asked if we can do the afternoon.

Anyone got any experience with multi-stage interviews? I'm assuming that a talk with HR won't be an interview in the same style as the interviews I've already had but I'm not sure what they would be looking to find out.

Want to be prepared!
