It's some outdoor youth adventure program thing, so it may well be that

But it's a fairly OK round logotype style design. The website was made in Wix so I don't think they have a great deal of competency in the design department, they probably got the logo done by somebody who at least vaguely knows what they're doing but given there's no evidence of scale there it's somewhat surprising to see those kinds of volumes.

Maybe they're just doing it to get a response, strawberry float knows. You really have no idea what people are really after with this sort of thing.

The other day I picked up the phone and it was just some millennial guy talking about possibly maybe doing some T-shirts because their friend owns a shop and another knows about design, I rambled some thing about business decisions and how they could perhaps promote those online (the response was "yeah" so this is 99% an "instagram related thing") and feel free to send me any questions, tl;dr contact me when you're ready to make a purchasing decision.

Edit:

Wait, what

In addition to running kids clubs [prospective client] can provide a service for any building, landscaping or maintenance needs you have on your property.

We have a vast array of experience, whether it's tree cutting, building bespoke garden structures or general tidying and maintenance we would love to talk to you about your plans and provide you with a quote.

That's like me saying I can print T-shirts but I can also re-organise your wardrobe by type, colour, season and occasion and btw I like sewing or whatever.

Oh vetting is so much fun. Honestly though it's pretty legit and if they take whatever fee for fanciful daycare or school trips that's fine by me, it would be unfair for me to expect all of my clients to have well organised websites that are neatly categorised into sections that are actually relevant to the business they're enquiring about.

Obviously my principle concern needs to be it's not only a lot of money on a sheet of paper, it's always a balance sheet of sorts, there's a reasonable degree of liability there where I have pretty significant costs to deliver stuff and I need to make sure that's not a colossal waste of time and money. I'll probably need to take a day off my time off and call them or something presuming they don't read e-mails for whatever reason.

Edit; just checking out social media and this "lost property" photo:

That rip-off tik-tok hoodie. I saw one of these on Brighton Pier. Yeah sure a Chinese social media network makes legit TikTok merch

Also that's maybe a size year 8 to 10? What are 8 year olds doing on the Internet? strawberry floating hell

Just accepted a job offer for the accounts/HR role. The one I was, and still am, a bit unsure about.

So I'm still hoping my final CEO interview with this other company comes up good and I get that offer instead but at least I know I'm not going to be out of work now.

Just gotta amend the date on my notice and email it across now.

Woo very nicely done dude! Your reaction seems very musted but I'm sure the reality of being able to securely quit the job which has been causing you a lot of mental anguish will hit soon.

All the best with the CEO interview - you are in a great position for that now as a lot of the pressure of needing a job will be off.

:msgreen:

Also I got my first paycheque since getting the promotion and it was nice to have the Halifax app tell me how much more than usual it was.

Thank you, everyone.

Just emailed the notice across to HR and FD. Turns out they're in one of their narcissistic management meetings that usually last all day. But I've sent it across now so the leave date is set.

I'm feeling so many mixed emotions right now but the future can only be better. So here's hoping I can remain calm and serene from here on out.

Awesome, well done!

Just think how sweet sending that letter is going to be.

Yes! Nice one Zilly mate.

Did they give you any feedback bigging you up or anything? How does the salary/package compare to your current?

No feedback, just that they wanted to offer me the job. I should've asked but I was really taken aback and my mind went a bit blank. Same salary but better hours and half the commute.

So it's equivalent of a nice little pay rise. I should be able to save at least an extra £100 a month.

Guys, I just got offered the other job. And accepted. Way more money and much more opportunities. The CEO is in the US at the moment and couldn't set a good time.

Now I've got to let the other job down gently :dread:

You've got an interview for a CEO job lined up but you're accepting a HR position?!?!?

But in all seriousness - well done, sending in that notice must have felt very cathartic! :toot:

EDIT: Just seen you got the better offer - double congratulations! :toot: :toot:

I was so polite to the lady but she was miserable as sin and sounded like she wanted to slap me. So I've definitely accepted the right job

Really excited now. Still a bit nervous but that's natural.
