Zinlad.

When you bag one of these, please call your boss to let him know your letter of resignation will be emailed to him at your earliest convenience and record the call so that, a) we can listen to it, obv, and b) so that you can listen to it over and over again, any time you are feeling miserable.

No he should post it and wait for someone to open it from the pile they put in his desk as it won't be his problem any more. And one day just walk out of the door and never return.

I'm not sure which would be better tbh

Zilnad should post in his letter of resignation so that they don't notice and keep paying him since nobody will open it.

Thanks all. I woke up this morning feeling so nervous but I've calmed a bit now. Will be glad when both interviews are over but it's good knowing a small corner of the internet is cheering me on.

Good luck with them both, Zilnad. Hope they go well. You need to get away from your current workplace, and these are just the opportunities that will help.

Good God why won't people read emails? I get asked by email to answer a question, I respond with a clear bulleted and to the point answer, and the person just calls straight away and asks me to explain it. I JUST DID READ THE strawberry floating EMAIL

Yeah, I get it a lot with my manager who only reads the first few lines, or just keeps asking questions as he reads something - yet all the information he needs is just a bit further down in the email.

"I want a top level overview"
"Ok, heres 3 years of conversations condensed into 7 bullet points"
> Reads 3 bullet points and starts asking questions
