It's a trap mate, they distract you with that and scarper off with the index playing with your new box.

D'you think they'll allow GRcade to be unblacklisted now you've got a promotion?

Congrats on that promotion.

We've got a central filing system for signed off artwork. There's one lazy bastard who can't be bothered to go and get things himself and always asks me directly to provide it, and gets all funny when I say it's where it should be and get it yourself (in a professional way of course). Now ive got some passive aggressive email from a manager with him copied in, asking me to pass on the artwork, so he's clearly gone to him to get me to do this, rather than just spend 5 minutes getting it himself.

I'd be tempted to respond with something equally passive-aggressive about it being important that everyone knows and is familiar with the processes/locations of centralised resources so if you're on leave or sick then there isn't a single point of contact to get to it, improving efficiency, team flexibility, that kind of thing.

Because he's a lazy strawberry floating bastard, and no matter how many times I've brought it up, it keeps happening.

Got a call from my boss today and I've got a 10% payrise starting in January putting me up to 33k from 30. My friend who's the same level as me also got the same so I'll take that as a win for us.

Got an out of the blue zoom interview of sorts with an old boss of mine tomorrow. No idea what it's really about, but the company it's for would be back in the dream job situation if something comes of it.

Good work. Any pay rise in the current climate is an achievement :toot:

Got offered a new job last night. Don't have it in writing yet, but it's looking good.

These are (mostly) people I've worked with before, so they know what they're getting themselves in to :datass:

Make out that you're leaving just because of that guy that asks for artwork when he can just strawberry floating get it himself in the time it takes to demand it from you.
