I can only think it'll be one of the below:

No bonus because we don't like him.
Can we force him back to the office yet?
Can we make him redundant?
Can we pile more work on him as punishment?

I'd love to be able to call them all out for the despicable banana splits that they are and walk out but I've nowhere else to go yet.

Although it's absolutely none of their business I still wouldn't mention it at work because some traditionalists see it as "taking energy" or "focus" away from your "main job" as if they own you or something, which is of course strawberry floating ridiculous.

If it does come up just tell them you are getting paid more, that definitely makes the conversation more interesting.

It was from my actual job, one of our clients needed something doing. :toot:

Can I still post in here if I'm unemployed?

Last night I ate 8 digestives in 4 minutes, today I may shower.

30 seconds per digestive seems slow if anything. I think you need to think about how you can improve your work performance.

I'll have a word with your line manager and see if we can set some stretch objectives for you. Maybe target including hobnob's in the mix as well

@Zilnad can you please have a word with Ming please about their lackluster digestive eating performance. Also, have you got an update on the mail yet?

It seems slow but the longer time goes on the harder it gets and a man can only drink so much cow-tit-juice!

I'm self employed (no, really) but yesterday I shaved for the first time in what must have been about 6 weeks.

I did have other gooseberry fool going on though, and I'm pretty certain only one of my clients (who lives across from me) noticed. And I don't really want her as a client anyway, so figures

Seriously though a lot of people have posted here just to write about finding work or changing jobs, hence why I tagged it as an Advice topic about 2 years ago.

I would personally like to see Ming eat ten cream crackers in under 2 minutes. Nothing else will do. In other business, no update as yet I'm afraid.

Ah good, tech tends to take care of each other in this respect. Just don't you even think of "stealing" your skills and taking them somewhere else! ;)

I once got paid extra to literally sit and watch the temperature level on a kiln one late afternoon. If it went too low and a light turned on or something, I was to call someone. I'll let you guess what happened.

Absolutely goddammed nowt. You just sat there humming tunelessly to yourself, maybe passing the time with The Logo Quiz on your phone or some time-waster game like that. Easiest money there is.

Yeah but you get paid top dollar, the warehouse bunch are lucky if they even get paid at all. And they have to actually go into work.

Have you considered roping in one of the warehouse staff to open all the mail whilst he's there?
