I feel your pain. :dread:

We should start a support group, Anal-explosion Survivors Society.

Fairly sure I got stuck beside someone having a cheeky wank in my last job as well. LAD.

This is like a Cyburn comic.

I have no idea what a Cyburn comic is but I was going for a stark realism in my MSPaint reproduction of Squinty's scenario there.

I think it came out quite well.

This made my day.

I like the masturbation sound waves

Hello

Stop reading now if you are a lady!

The urinal on 2nd floor is out of action (water switched off) until we have had a stack flush on the main downpipe to clear it. You may use the toilet cubicles though.

If anything goes down the urinal it will explode back out again after a few seconds so you’ve been warned!

Is it really wrong that I want to go down to the second floor and try it out? :shifty:

No, not at all!

The promise of explosions, the fact that the phrase "you have been warned" has been employed - this is all a major tease!

Obviously if you do "investigate" I think we will all expect a report back here...

Well it said “if anything goes down the urinal” and so I had to try several things.

For my first experiment I played it safe and spat down it. No reaction from the exploding urinal.

Second experiment was pouring a little bit of mineral water down. There was a gurgle, but no explosion.

The third experiment involved pissing. My aim was off and I hit the sink, but enough urine went down the urinal to trigger an explosive reaction. Piss everywhere! It was like a party at Denster’s house.

I moved onto my fourth experiment. I put my arm down there and when nothing happened I cut my wrist to get some blood in there. BOOOOOM! The force was so powerful that I was blasted up onto the roof of the building.

And now I am stuck.

Please send help.

Please?

Sounds like we don't need to worry about that stack flush on the main downpipe anymore!

I am the wanking LAD.

As an aside, all my GRcade posts today have been connected to wanking.

I told my manager today that I don't enjoy my new job which I have been doing since January and want to potentially step down into my old job. All the extra responsibilities, expectations and my own standards has made me really anxious and I'm always taking work home and I can't carry on like this. I feel so much better but can't work out if it was telling my manager or the prospect of stepping down.

Couple of updates from my place.

The interim Director has now effectively been put on gardening leave. Her out of office has said 'back in tomorrow' for a week.

My line manager is finally due to return on Tuesday next week following the car accident. I'm pretty doubtful she'll actually come back.

God, this week has been strawberry floating shite. You know it's a bad week when you lose all interest in everything work related by Wednesday.

Off next week, have an aptitude test for an IT position. I hope I get to interview stage.

I've enjoyed this week.

I was put as lead on a mini task force thing for a bunch of issues in our main claims, policy and sales systems that no one could work out and have narrowed the issues down in 2 days and I'm being given opportunity to act as a team lead in a way for someone on another small project thing so I start gaining little bits of management experience for when I move in the organisation or our team grows and needs a deputy lead or something.

Quite nice to be in a place that helps with progression for a change

I was in our office for the first time in ages and the first 2 days were not soul crushingly terrible, then yesterday happened. strawberry float yesterday.

People on the phone are such banana splits to us and they expect you to be able to drop everything else to help them with their stupid issues. This guy wanted a guy in the office to get a document from him, so rather than just sending him the document he made me waste half strawberry floating hour to install the office printers over VPN for him. strawberry float him, strawberry float that problem and strawberry float it all after that call my entire day was a mess. I didn't have half hour to waste on that gooseberry fool.

I think that's the nutshell of all my work problems. People can be such banana splits on the phone. It really grinds you down.

The joys of working at an MSP.

When I'm on site it's fine because people are patient with you and treat you like a human being. banana splits on the phone just don't care about you. They want their problem fixed and fixes now regardless of the fact you're dealing with an entire network being down amongst other things. There's that and also printers. When I hear the word printer on the phone I recoil in my chair. strawberry float printers man haha

I remember back when I worked Service Desk one weekend I got a call from someone who demanded that we call out someone to change the toner in the printer they used rather than them just using a different printer in the building.
