The actual role hasn't changed, but I can do more of what I want to be doing and probably be able to pass off some of the more menial stuff later on.

With my new house purchase I really need my full income this year. From January I'm going to be in a very strong position from a personal and professional standpoint to negotiate with work and get the best possible deal alongside a 4 day week. I don't want a 20% pay cut to accompany it.

In other news one of my most difficult clients ever got back to me this morning and told me they "absolutely love" the work I did for them last week

Here we go. Work still ordering me to return to the office full time, two weeks today. I'm not having it. Hopefully this other place I'm interviewing for will give me a second interview and a new job because otherwise it looks like I'll be in a pickle.
