Really? I can't see any for less than £168. Even some top tier locations are in the £200 range.

Yup, must’ve been around 1:30 I was sitting in my car, I was just checking in to see if it was sold out yet and at that time there was a good 60 or 70 tickets there from £37-£60, I remember because I was scrolling for quite a while before I got to the £100 tickets!
Ya £150 seems to be the cheapest left at the moment. Really odd to just throw them up without announcing it.
Edit: I got seats 1 and 2( the very left hand side) half way up section L38, the seat literally right in front of me is £200!
It’s like they’re just throwing random prices on seats at this stage!

Really odd. I'm in U9 for £113, which seems criminal for top tier. Although currently ten rows in front of me if currently £240

Bit of a nose bleed section alright but at least you’ve a guaranteed direct view of the ring from that section, while I’m extremely happy with the price/location balance I got, I’m still slightly worried I’ll see strawberry float all if they build 4 big bastard pillars outside each corner of the ring to hold up some monstrous “castle roof” over the canvas :slol:

Yeah my concern is what's the set up going to be like but as you say at least I'm side on to the ring so a lot closer than a goal end view.

Chances of getting a hotel under £400 seem impossible

The hotels started jacking up their prices purely on the rumors of the event happening months ago! I booked the Jury’s near by around the same time for £555 for 2 nights, which seems like a bargain now after seeing the price of rooms now, at much shittier hotels I might add.

PostRe: The Wrestling Thread: AEW presents Double or Nothing - Sunday, Fite.TV

Nobody seems to know if MJF vs Wardlow is happening tonight at AEW Double or Nothing, which isn’t great seeing as it’s one of their headline matches. MJF no showed the fan fest/autograph signing at the weekend and apparently hasn’t been seen by anyone since.

Usual debate online about the whole thing being staged, but when you’re having to refund fans, and have already sold/are hoping to sell a number of PPVs on the basis of this match, that makes no sense. Especially in the same week Warner Discovery will be in attendance at Dynamite. Would just make your promotion look amateurish.

Sasha Banks and Naomi walked out on WWE a couple of weeks ago, but at least that was a pre-unadvertised RAW match.

Adds further intrigue to tonight though!

I think all three parties are unprofessional. I’m still not sure if the MJF isn’t a worked shoot with everyone involved aware.. but we’ll see.

Sasha and Naomi, I believe walked out as the show was on air and due to perform in the main? No matter if you disagree I think some agreement could have been made surely. To walk out as the show is live and people expect the match I think is unprofessional too.

I’ve read the reasons behind it and understand those and have empathy but at the end of the day if someone walks out of any workplace for the most part on a shift say, expect to be bollocked for it

Maybe WWE and AEW should do a swap MJF for Naomi & Sacha.

Watching that video actually makes it look like the Sasha Banks/Naomi thing might be a worked shoot as well - usually they wouldn't even mention something like that on air.

– WWE officials have noted that they are very happy with the sales so far, pointing out that Clash at the Castle will draw the largest non-WrestleMania gate in the history of pro-wrestling and will likely come ahead of most WrestleManias which internally would be a very big deal

With the ticket prices I’m not strawberry floating surprised.

Indeed they have absolutely rinsed the fans. I'm still expecting it to be an also ran ppv with nothing special on offer.

Remember when this place used to be hopping the day of a pay per view, these “premium live events” or whatever they’re called clearly don’t have the same effect :slol:
But ya, only one Smackdown match, and not a good one by the looks of it. What gives?

Cody wrestling with his arm and chest in that state is visually something pretty spectacular but in terms of stupidity it’s got to be right up there. And to top it off the crowd decide to chant “thank you Rollins” as Cody gets beaten up.

Credit to them both though, despite the injury they managed to pull out a worthy 30 minute match.

Can’t see Rhodes now being available for the Clash in September.

They were thanking him for bringing the table in after chanting they wanted tables for most of the match

Oh, is that what it was. I thought the Chicago crowd were being overly harsh.

Unusually for me I nodded off 3 times during this show. I had to look up the results today for the whole middle portion. 2nd PPV in a row they've not bothered defending a load of belts.

The state of Cody's chest. Wow.

I hope this doesn't put him out of Clash at the Castle.

Dave Meltzer said Cena could recover from such an injury in about 3 months... that's clearly the absolute best case here.

Clash at the Castle is in approximately 3 months. If I was to bet on it, I'd say there's no chance of him being there sadly.

Jeff Hardy arrested for driving blackout drunk. Like nearly 4x over the limit close to alcohol poisoning drunk. I’m done supporting him. Get him to strawberry float man.
