Surely there’s a chance of Cody showing up in Impact or NWA to link up with Matt for a bit.

It’d be cool to see, but I doubt he left AEW for travel expenses and a hotdog

They've rebadged it:

Did 205 still have the weight limit rule? If so that's one thing they'll now be able to get rid of. I think I've watched maybe 2 or 3 episodes since it started.

These supplemental shows never really attract a large audience, including Main Event and NXT UK (is anyone watching this?). The most popular appears to be AEW's DARK and DARK ELEVATION (I still can't believe they've been named so similarly) on YouTube, which hovers around the 300,000 mark. Other shows like NWA Powerrr, which is also on YouTube, can reach a 100,000 views. There's just too much wrestling, basically!

Talking of NWA, I managed to catch an episode the other day, and there's a number of familiar faces from WWE I've noticed, such as Matt Cardona (Zack Ryder), Tyrus (The Funkasaurus/Brodus Clay), Aron Stevens (Cody Rhodes' old tag team partner, Damien Sandow), Trevor Murdoch (as...well, Trevor Murdoch).

I think he did a Shane McMahon and went into business. What that business is though I can't remember!

Cesaro’s left WWE. Looks like a likely AEW signing.

I’ve always liked his sense of humour but it usually seems to go over the head of the desired audience.

Cain Velasquez is being held on suspicion of attempted murder for an alleged shooting yesterday.

According to Meltzer anyway. Weirdly happened in San Jose, where Dave is from.

I read this evening that one of the main events on WWE’s books for Mania is Vince McMahon vs current SmackDown commentator Pat McAfee. Surely that’s going to be the two of them finding a representative on their behalf (such as Mania 2000 with a ‘McMahon in every corner’ and Trump/McMahon) and they’re not actually going to wrestle. :dread:

Cody Rhodes’ stipulation to never challenge for the #AEW  World Championship was built into his contract. His contract which expired.

Cody will return tonight and stare down Hangman page with his new contract and be the next AEW World Champion.

It’s not an actual match though is it? Just one of those interviews that will lead to Austin hitting a stunner followed by drinking some stone cold beers

Yeah sounds like it. All the previous rumours were of a match

I bet we’ll see more of him, Wrestlemania and the Saudi Shows like Crown Jewel will be massive paydays.

If we were to see a match Kevin Owens is a safe pair of hands and a good wrestler, Austin wouldn’t be able to enter suplex city these days.

Scott Hall has somehow managed to kick out of three heart attacks. He's on life support though and I don't think this is a match he'll win, sadly. He's battled personal demons for thirty years and even though he's done some horrendous things by all accounts, this one has still upset me a little. Great memories of watching him as a very young kid.

My friend just sent me a link to this news. We were both massive fans of his back in the early - mid 90’s.

Yeah, seeing him (along with Jake the Snake) get his life back on track with DDPs help was a heartwarming story. I really hope he comes through this.

Guy has had a rough life party stemming from depression triggered from the guy he shot dead in self defence when working as a bouncer.

Scott's on life support. Once his family is in place they will discontinue life support. I'm going to lose the one person on this planet I've spent more of my life with than anyone else. My heart is broken and I'm so very strawberry floating sad. I love Scott with all my heart but now I have to prepare my life without him in the present. I've been blessed to have a friend that took me at face value and I him. When we jumped to WCW we didn't care who liked or hated us. We had each other and with the smooth Barry Bloom we changed wrestling both in content and pay for those......alot that disliked us. We were the "Outsiders " but we had each other. Scott always felt he wasn't worthy of the afterlife. Well God please have some gold plated toothpicks for my brother. My life was enriched with his take on life. He wasn't perfect but as he always said "The last perfect person to walk the planet they nailed to a cross " As we prepare for life without him just remember there goes a great guy you ain't going to see another one like him again. See Ya down the road Scott. I couldn't love a human being any more than I do you
