The PPV was sponsored by Army of the Dead on Netflix, which resulted in trailers and product placement segments throughout the entire night. Batista narrated the intro package to Backlash, while clips of the film were shoehorned in throughout. What was supposed to be a legit lumberjack match, and was built as such on RAW, was then turned into a 10 minute joke bout instead. Earlier Morrison had entered a locker room backstage with “lumberjacks” written on the door. Upon opening the door, it turned out it was full of zombies. This led to the zombies shuffling around backstage in a later segment.
I couldn't sleep again so watched Raw. Was actually surprising pleased with it. Some really good matches, Seamus/Ricochet, Lashley/Kofi (even if the ending sucked). Asuka and Charlotte had a decent match although it fell apart some what at the end. I could only really moan about the Alexa Bliss bits, but that wasn't too intrusive.
Easily the best Raw in some time from a wrestling perspective. Even the Morrison/Priest lumberjack match was enjoyable, although it had an easy job after the disaster the night before.
AEW Dynamite is moving to TBS (former home of WCW Thunder and Saturday Night) in 2022. New 1 hour show AEW Rampage to debut on TNT this August following SmackDown, before then also moving to TBS. TNT will instead air 4 specials a year (think how TBS used to show Clash of the Champions).
NHL has taken the Wednesday slot on TNT.
Say what you will about Eric Bischoff but literally nobody listened to him when he said more WCW programming was a bad idea. Philosophy now is MORE MORE MORE.
Just heard that news. Bad news for the TNT title, renaming it the TBS title sounds gooseberry fool. Guess they will need to rename it the TV title or something similar.

Or keep it on the TNT show?
Won't both Dynamite and the new Rampage show be on TBS in 2022. I thought Rampage was starting on TNT and then moving over.

Yeah, you're right and I'm wrong.
They'll have to rename it I guess.
It fits with the Dynamite name of the show so they won't necessarily have to rename it if they don't want to. It just won't be immediately obvious it's a 'TV' title.
I guess that's the danger of naming a title after a TV channel. Bit of a shame as the TNT title has had some great matches, many better than the World Title since it was created.
They should have called it the National Championship like in NWA.
Speaking of NWA, they have such a tiny roster, but do the best job of any company of making their titles feel special. You definitely get a great bang for your buck with them.
