Peyton Royce gone as well. Her and Billie will be back together soon enough in AEW I imagine.

Quite a few surprises there, especially Joe.

Mickie James was doing commentary on the preshow of NXT TakeOver last week.

Tucker was going nowhere since splitting from Otis. Neither was Billie Kay, for the same reason - WWE has a long tradition of getting rid of tag teams and Marty Jannettying one or both of them.

Joe would be a great addition to AEW, I think a couple of the others would do well in NWA.

I’m shocked about some of these names.

Some of them must asked to go surely.

If Joe can still wrestle then he is a must for AEW. Along with Royce and Kay.

Bo Dallas could be an interesting one for AEW.

Shocked but hardly surprised. At least there’s lots of competition now

AEW Dynamite did a big rating last night on TNT, unopposed (1,219,000). A lot of people conditioned to watching NXT and wrestling on Wednesday’s suddenly swapping over to the competition...

Another big opportunity here for AEW to maintain or even grow their audience.

It appears that future hall of famer and WWE legend Mojo Rawley has also been released.

Big drop for AEW in the ratings this week. People are saying the presidential address to congress is responsible, but if you lose that many viewers to a political speech, it's a bit worrying.

They seem to be in a bit of a holding pattern at the moment. I don't know what they are doing with the AEW title. Moxley still looks in the picture, but Hangman was no 1 contender and this week they seemed to cool him off to play for time.

Meltzer always says the AEW audience are far more intelligent than that of NXT's - which would then make the drop due to the increase in the address possible.

I'm still waiting on my interest in wrestling to pick back up again... though YUJI NAGATA v MOXLEY for the IWGP US helps.

Adnan Virk is just...terrible. To be fair Tony Schiavone doesn’t know the moves half the time over on Dark Elevation either (which is what somebody like a Mike Tenay or Excalibur is supposed to be there for) but unlike Schiavone, Virk just doesn’t have the voice for wrestling. The current RAW announce team makes the show feel C-tier (not that the show is currently any good to begin with, even in highlighted form).

I genuinely, and I mean this completely sincerely, have no idea how you can sit through Raw.

I come back around once a month to watch the YouTube edit (it's 1 hour 30) to see if it's got any better, but the rest of the time I watch the highlights on YT or Channel 5.

A few programming alterations coming up for AEW Dynamite in May and June:

F4Wonline: In this week's Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that AEW Dynamite will experience some schedule changes due to the upcoming NBA playoffs on TNT.

The Wednesday, May 26th show will move to Friday, May 28th at 10 PM Eastern with a plan of filming two hours of Dark for the following week starting at 8 PM before going live. That week's Dynamite will be the go-home show for Double or Nothing that Saturday.

A countdown show for Double or Nothing is set for that Saturday with the start time unknown due to the playoffs.

Meltzer said the changes mean UK viewers on ITV will be getting other programming instead due to the timing. The May 28th Dynamite will air there on Monday, May 31st after the pay-per-view has already happened.

The Wednesday, June 2nd Dynamite will either be moved to a live show on Friday, June 4th or Saturday, June 5th depending on the playoff game TNT gets that weekend. That uncertainty is the reason both Brian Cage and Brian Pillman Jr. had to pull out of the June 5th Warrior Wrestling event.

If June 4th ends up being the date, they will hold tapings on June 5th for the following week's Dynamite and both Dark and Dark: Elevation for June 14th and 15th, respectively. If June 5th is the date, it's unknown if they will then shift tapings to Sunday, June 6th.

Not exactly ideal.

Yeah, that's pretty bad having the show on Monday after the PPV is already over. I'm just happy I changed over to the AEW Plus subscription on Fite TV after it was recommended on here. Anything to avoid the ITV app and it's endless adverts :dread:

Also, Matt Jackson's 'Johnny Cage' low blow on Dynamite this week

Why do Pat McAfee and Michael Cole on commentary now keep standing up, sitting down, and generally gesticulating during matches, it’s really distracting.
