Thanks for that. Does it have all the really old stuff in the archives, or just the last 10 years or so? Does it have all the old rumbles, survior series, summer slams?
I'm always dubious about one month trials....

Yeah it's got all those ones. As far as I know it has every single PPV they've done apart from Over the Edge where Owen Hart died. It's also got Raw and Smackdown too. WCW stuff is on there too.

AWA (1983-1988)

WWF Tuesday Night Titans (1984-1986)
WWF Old School (1987-1997)
WWF Prime Time Wrestling (1986-1989)
World Championship Wrestling (1985-1989)
WWF Saturday Night's Main Event (1991-2002/2006-2008)
WWF Superstars (1992)
WCW Saturday Night (1992-1993)
WCW Clash Of The Champions (1993-1997)
Smoky Mountain Wrestling (1994)
ECW (1996-2000)
WCW Nitro (1995-2001)
WCW Thunder (1998-2000)
WWF Sunday Night Heat (1998-1999)

It's an obscene amount of value for £9.99 a month. I've been a subscriber for a couple of years now and just watch PPVs and NXT. With access to archive stuff as well you will never get round to watching it all.

I've just subscribed to NJPW World as well. Which is, on the whole, better than WWE's main product just now. That's like £7.50 a month.

Thanks to all of you who helped with my question. I am kind of tempted.
So the only thing you don't get is the current episodes of Raw and Smackdown (until 30 days after air date)?
I'm guessing Sky has the rights to these?

So if you don't have Sky Sports, does the WWE network have anyway of keeping you up to date with the latest matches etc? Does it have another variant of SD/Raw that shows the most recent bouts?

Apologies, I'm about 20 years behind on this ....

WWE upload highlights of RAW and SmackDown to YouTube minutes after it has aired on television. Around 40-50 minutes worth for RAW, 25 minutes for SmackDown. If you use a VPN however, an extended edit (1 hour 30) of RAW and the full episode of SD are uploaded on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings to YouTube.

This Week in WWE (recap show), 205 Live (cruiserweight matches), Worlds Collide, NXT and NXT UK air new episodes on the WWE Network every week.

"RAW Hits" (around 45 minutes) airs on Sky1 every week, I think on a Sunday morning. WWE Main Event (recap of RAW, SmackDown and new matches), Experience (recap show), RAW Hits and SmackDown highlights air on Sky Sports Mix, which is available to everyone with Sky.

Outside of WWE, IMPACT WRESTLING airs on 5Spike, Major League Wrestling has just started on Freesports, and small independent promotions like Preston City Wrestling air on Showcase/Fight Network. They also show IMPACT WRESTLING Xplosion.

Thanks for the reply.

I do actually have Sky Sports Mix, so maybe the coverage that serves will be adequate. As i say, i have not watched any WWE for years, but for some reason i am feeling a desire to pick it back up again. Its mostly the old stuff that is drawing me in though, and it sounds like the coverage is second to none. I'm hoping it has an easy to navigate interface, as i would love to relive main events through the years.

I guess i should really sign up for the free month.

For example last night's edition of RAW is now up on YouTube via WWE, but is blocked in various countries such as USA, UK, and Germany:

I can get it working from a VPN set to Ukraine and Sweden however. A YouTube downloader website (or software like Internet Download Manager) may also work.

I recommend the Post Wrestling Podcast. They recap and review Raw and SD and given the quality of show WWE are putting out, it's more enjoyable to listen to the podcast and catch YouTube clips.

This superstar shake up feels like it's been done on the fly this year. They seem to have a real problem with decent heels again. Raw and SD are now massively top heavy with faces and there are hardly any decent heels. I guess Zayn may develop into a decent heel but on the SD side there isn't really anyone decent now Bryan is injured.

WWE has a Live Network special tomorrow night at 2:30am. It's been so poorly advertised a lot of people thought it was a Shield documentary, but apparently it's a House Show they've decided to air on the Network featuring what is definitely this time honest The Shield's last match together.

Was this show even plugged at all on RAW and SmackDown?

Yeah it's really odd. It popped up as a story on my Google news on my phone. I had no idea it existed either. Very odd.

I'm pretty sure I saw a graphic for it coming up on this weeks Raw. It came across as some sort of documentary though like KK said (though maybe I wasn't paying enough attention).

CM Punk made a masked return cameo at a small indie show. Wonder if he is in prep for an AEW run.

Was it him though? I know he was pictured in the same area wearing the same hoodie but that GTS looked a little off.

Could be because he hasn't been doing it regularly for years?

Maybe it was just ring rust like you say but I’m not entirely convinced.

Wow that is great to know, Do you know when they get uploaded to youtube? I cannot get it to work on the YouTube app with a VPN, only with the browser. Am I doing anything wrong with it?

They're uploaded UK time anywhere from about 5pm to as late as 9pm on Tuesday/Wednesday. You'll know for sure as they're always visible on the YouTube TV and console apps via the WWE's channel page irrespective of country, whereas to see the thumbnail icons on a web browser you need to be viewing the YouTube site from an unblocked country.

Not sure how to get it to play through the YT app however. I usually either connect the computer to the TV or download it to a USB drive via a website like http://www.clipconverter.cc (you'll still need a VPN for this, as attempting to download the link address from the UK or another blocked country won't work either).
