Nice one, this is a bizarre story So looking forward to watching it. Don’t suppose there’s a link to the Benoit episodes anywhere? :shifty:

There is a developing story emerging about Velveteen Dream allegedly DM'ing minors dick pics. Could be some kind of hack or hoax at this stage, it all seems very bizarre. Could be a big story either way. Dream has issued a denial but seems to confirm the dick pic is genuine.

That closing segment on SmackDown last Friday with Triple H, Shawn Michaels and Vince McMahon was a rough half hour. Brutal.

Vince McMahon looked and sounded terrible (his voice has almost gone completely), and it just got more and more awkward. It sounded to me like Road Dogg may have even dropped the F bomb on the phone too.

I assume he’s chosen to leave as I believe wwe said told talent this week they could leave if they wanted to.

My dudes. I've been made redundant due to this whole mess the world has gotten itself in right now. I'm going to be taking some time to work on a few projects and do some personal development. One thing I've been working on for a while now to get more experience with certain technologies and platforms is https://puroview.com/ . At the moment, the idea behind the site is that it creates a weekly email of all the results from Japanese promotions from the past week, all totally automated. I built it from the ground up basically as something to put on my CV, but I've never really been able to fully test it. If anyone fancies being a guinea pig and signing up for the weekly email, it would help me massively  Obviously there aren't many shows going on right now, so content is light, but I archived everything from the past 2 years, which might be something y'all find interesting to take a look through.

Done. What are you using for this project just out of interest?

The back end is Flask, which is a Python framework, with MongoDB as the database. I've then containerised it and run it on a Kubernetes cluster in Google Cloud. It's overkill really, but the whole point was to give myself exposure to new stuff.

The front end is just Bootstrap because I am in no way a designer

Tony Schiavone reading rap lyrics is not something I knew I needed in my life

It's been interesting seeing how AEW has been adapting Dynamite in the current climate. It's been a little hit and miss since the lock down but I thought last weeks episode got a lot of things right. They had a good mix of pretaped segments and decent matches, plus Jericho has been great on commentary (Pineapple Pete, probably the most over jobber there at the mo  ). These segments were particularly fun:

Heel Britt Baker 8-)

Still don't feel they need to do a live show at all. I'd rather they'd tape a load of TV in one go. Haven't went near WWE since Mania. After all the layoffs, bland TV and hours of content, I just can't bring myself to watch it.

Sorry to hear about your situation Minty. Signed up to your email list, sounds pretty cool and useful. I hope you land on your feet after all this calms down.

Just seen that according to PWI apparently the men’s and women’s Money in the Bank matches will be one combined match, running throughout the entire night via cutaways (either inbetween in-ring bouts or also via cutaways and double features).

I genuinely don't know what to think about that. To be fair, I don't think they have jumped the shark with these cinematic matches yet, but that was pushing it in my opinion.

What the strawberry float was that  That should have gone longer imo. The mens winner is a mistake. A true whopper.

Prediction

- Mandy betrays him causing him to lose the case and contract to someone else down the line

I really enjoyed the MITB match. Sure it was stupid, cartoony crazy but as a one off I enjoyed it. They are going to have to keep being creative without audiences and I think this was a good example.

Other thoughts:

Please don’t ever put Tamina in a title match again. That was just horrendous. Absolutely only hired because of her connections.

Rollins McIntyre was great, definitely deserves to be at one of the big 4 PPV’s again.

I’ve lost the link but Alberto Del Rio is in quite a bit of trouble by the look of it. Sexual assault among other things.
