It’s £3.79(ish) a month.

Why can't AEW have their PPVs on a Saturday? I would have happily bought it and stayed up, but not on a Sunday.

I feel like they must lose a lot of money internationally because of that.

I unsubbed from WWE when I stopped doing bar work and couldn't lay in on a Monday.

AEW did start doing their PPVs on a Saturday but they changed it to Sunday’s for some reason.

I was going to stay up and watch it last night but I ended up with a headache so I’m looking forward to catching it tonight instead. I didn’t pay for their last PPV after that exploding death match debacle but All Out seemed worth it.

There’s only 4 of them per year (at the moment) but AEW’s PPV events are expensive if you’ve got used to the value of the WWE Network. They’re around £15 when purchased through the Fite app but £20 through the Apple and PlayStation stores, which puts them in line with boxing events (though that’s beginning to go down the streaming route as well). Dynamite is of course free on ITV, and substantial Rampage highlights are on YouTube and unofficially on DailyMotion if you don’t want to pay. There’s also Dark and Dark Elevation on YouTube.

I could see the AEW PPVs ending up on HBO Max or something eventually.

I'd rather pay £18 for a good 4 hour show like all out than give WWE a tenner for 6 hours of meh summerslam.

Problem for me is WWE just feels far too sanitary and formulaic, and after that news came out that they are going to pivot from recruiting indie wrestlers to getting kids out of colleges and football teams and train them in the WWE "style" that's not giving me much to get excited about. Especially now that Vince has taken control of NXT.

My wrestling $$ is going on the AEW access on Fite now, can't be doing with the ads on ITV hub.

If you're not interested in the archive, then no I definitely wouldn't pay £10 for what the WWE is currently putting out. Extreme Rules later this month is just passing time, nor is there anything "extreme" about it.

I love it :shifty:
I don’t have ITV hub here in Ireland but still think it’s pretty easy to WATCH WRESTLING no matter what product you’re into.
All out was amazing and I’m very happy I kept myself off social media all day to avoid spoilers. Somebody was wondering why it was on Sunday and not Saturday, I believe it was a bank holiday in the US so that may have been a factor.
Rumor has it Taker is expected to be at Smackdown Friday now. :slol:

You know it's free on ITV hub right?

Yeah but isn't it always late and edited? That's what I keep hearing people say.

As good as the show is, I still can't shell out £20 for a PPV. I never got over it when PPVs stopped being on Sky Sports under the basic sub. I'm just too tight.

Surely if you are a WWE investor right now, you'd have to be asking serious questions about the amount of astonishing talent they've lost to AEW. It's also talent that's really popular with the key demos. It's worse than if Marvel lost the entire cast of The Avengers films to Warner Brothers.

I smirked yesterday when I read Jericho saying that Dynamite could over take Raw in total ratings within 6 months, but after that show last night, they have an extremely solid springboard and every chance to actually make that happen. That could also prove damaging to Smackdown if WWE viewers start bleeding to AEW.

Didn’t the Rampage where Punk returned beat Smackdown (a network show) in key demos I’m sure I heard?

Personally I think tv ratings aren’t so relevant anyway when less and less people watch tv live. I’m just glad it’s a show I can watch and enjoy. TNA always had that Russo smear of bullshit over it although I hear it’s much better to watch now.

Currently watching AEW All Out and they announced that their next PPV in November will be on a Saturday again.

Currently at Big Show vs QT (don’t envy them trying to follow the Punk match) and this has been an outstanding show. I can see this being the best PPV put out from either WWE or AEW in at least the past two years.

I think the crazy thing with AEW isn't so much the talent they've taken from WWE, it's how much better they use them.

Who'd have thought in this day and age Christian would be in a main event title match.. and it be a damn good match. Even the pre show tag match was better than most WWE matches.

And Sting, he might not be wrestling much but at least they're using him rather than just burying him like WWE.

Can't wait to see what they do with Bryan Danielson..

But yeah if I was one of WWE's investors or partners I'd be asking questions.. they're letting top talent go after massively under utilising them and then AEW is making them into huge stars.

Triple H is recovering from a "cardiac event" he suffered last week.

Would that be a euphemism for a heart attack?

Maybe this will now be the end of his wrestling career completely, as is it really worth the risk?

Not necessarily but he had to have surgery, so it probably wasn’t the most minor of things.

A lesson for any upcoming wrestler, steroids will eventually catch up with you. That said, I do hope HHH makes a full recovery.

Just finishing the matches on All Out that I skipped. Jr did a fine job but Tony Schiavone seems totally up to speed and back to his early 90s best. Easily my fav commentator in 2021.

It does sound exactly like what WWE would call a heart attack in their weird terminology.

Apparently it was due to genetics but we all know stuff like that can be exacerbated by the good ol anabolic steroids/HGH combo.

Wish him all the best though, he needs to pedigree Nick Khan through a table.

Currently watching last night’s Dynamite and this really is peak ‘90s stuff. The crowd is as alive and loud as you’d ever want, the show looks great, it’s flying along at 100 miles an hour, the wrestlers are all getting mega reactions, Schiavone’s on fine form, the matches aren’t overstaying their welcome, it’s unpredictable, awesome stuff.

To top it off the show beat RAW in the key 18-49 demo.

Wow, this episode has been fantastic from start to finish. Coming off All Out this has delivered everything it had to. Adam Cole confronting Tony Schiavone over Britt Baker was a twist I didn’t see coming either.
