I feel like I've seen that exact same end to Raw about a million times before.

Really sad, given the number of deaths it's a surprise that the US Govt has never investigated the industry properly. I know Trump is best friends with Vince, but that doesn't explain why past administrations have turned a blind eye.

I have fond memories of TLOD in WWE in the early 90s. Its a shame that past that they were never really able to get that hot again.

The Road Warriors riding their motorbikes into Wembley Stadium will always be iconic.

A ‘drunk’ Animal attempting suicide off the TitanTron during the Attitude Era not so much.

I’ve been saying that for years. Compared to any other entertainment industry the number of performers that die young is incredible.

Randy Orton walking around while dressed as a janitor, being inexplicably followed by a cameraman, before then putting on welding goggles that the viewer is supposed to believe are night vision goggles, and attacking Big Show, Shawn Michaels, Christian, and Ric Flair in complete darkness (who themselves have spent the entire programme not watching RAW and instead playing cards) has to be one of the most unintentionally hilarious things I’ve seen on WWE programming in years. Randy Orton then leaves the room, goes back to his cleaning cart, and points to the door with his head down as all referees and officials run in like a Benny Hill sketch. As if all of this wasn’t stupid enough, the beatdown happened in literal silence, so how the referees knew it was happening but somehow were unaware it was Randy Orton is so batshit nonsensical it’s up there with Warrior/Hogan in the mirror.

If RAW is going to be this stupid every week I may start watching the show again in its entirety for the lols.

The small change of Roman not wearing his stupid stabvest and putting on a lei after his match does so much to make him feel newer and more of a final boss.

That was my only take on Clash.

I got a sense they might be building to The Rock vs. Roman Reigns?

Beyond the Mat is now on Netflix UK. Essential viewing if you've not already seen it.

I have popped up from my lurking to do a shameless plug. So I have just added a new episode to mine and Superking's latest podcast project and this weeks episode looks back on this years Wrestlemania which of course might be of interest to followers of this thread...maybe. Anyway link is below if you fancy a listen. Would really appreciate the support. We also have a Tiger King Review posted if that is of interest. Anyway, thanks if you do listen!

WWE doing the weirdest thing tonight at NXT TakeOver, where they've got Vic Joseph, Wade Barrett, and Beth Phoenix on commentary, but only Vic Joseph is actually at the announce table speaking, with stand-in actors (one of which looks a bit like Wade Barrett, the other like Sasha Banks) at the actual table. Why even go to that effort, and not just hide the announce table. I guess Barrett and Phoenix are doing their commentary from home.

Also of note, they're bringing back Halloween Havoc on Wednesday 28th October as an NXT special against AEW Dynamite. Wonder if they've still got the blow-up pumpkin set from WCW...

When they brought back the In Your House event a few months ago Triple H evidently realised people expected to see the house, and they delivered the house. Hopefully the same is true of Halloween Havoc and the elaborate set. People (me) want a physical graveyard, not a graphic of one.

Cool that they've kept the 1999 WCW graphic too.

This surely has to be the plan with all this talk of Tribal Chief. But I'm not sure if it suits the storyline for Rock to come back and lose again. Losing to Rock seems like the logical conclusion for the Tribal Chief version of Reigns.

Murder Grandpa just quietly adding to the case for wrestler of the year 2020 at age 52. I've seen shootfights less stiff than his match with Ibushi from today.

Thanks for the heads up. Just watched it.

I'd love to be a fly on the wall listening to them going through the match beforehand. "Let's beat strawberry float out of each other...kamigoye... pin".

Halloween Havoc (and Great American Bash) are 100% just to keep the trademark away from Cody, right? Booo. Inflatable pumpkin or get out.

Not that I can watch NXT anyway now they have a crew of cretins banging at plexiglass the whole time.

As an aside, you'd hope that new Large Samoan Roman is just for the sake of massive heel rather than a one-ppv blow-off.
